I think the wrestling industry are quite wary of outsiders who try to look into the business. It is also part of Louis Theroux's style to come across as a little stupid, becuase it coaxes the interviewees into divulging more information than they would usually let out. In this instance his technique doesn't work.

The power plant instructers are absolute douche's too. No wonder nobody of any real talent apart from Golberg made it out of that wrestling school, and he could only work 5 minute squash matches anyway.

Buddy Lee Parker had a serious inferiority complex, Macho Man appeared to be quite scary! Definitely an intense dude back then, which fits with what other wrestlers have said. Rowdy Roddy Piper seems a nice guy.

The Power Plant was a joke.

Everyone should definitely check this out, Louis Theroux does some great documentaries. Was just skimming through it again, I love how softly he approaches Goldberg, just whispering his name. He really pissed off Sarge though, then got worked over at the Power plant.

Thats just how the business works, in many respects a Wrestling School is like a Military Barracks. They want to find the toughest and the most talented. For visitors the intensity is increased, probably to convey the message that even though Kayfabe is over, the harshness still remains
