I always hear about how good the money is for a WWE wrestler. Just how good is it, really? Are we talking millions in one year?

And what are the bonuses they get? I also hear they get bonuses for being in a PPV and holding a title. I'm just curious.

Pretty sure the upper midcarders and such get millions, other just come shy of that amount. That's what I imagine anyway

Millions for being a (upper)midcarder (Ted DiBiase excluded ofcourse) is ridiculous.
Maybe the top stars like Cena or Hunter get that, but not many will.
The midcarders will probably get a pretty decent paycheck though, I wonder how it differs from MMA fighters

Fast forward to 2010 and the only wrestlers that are probably over the million dollar mark are Triple H, Taker, Cena, Orton, Show and maybeeee Edge.

Poor maria.

And yeah, I already knew the wrestlers have to drive themselves to work aside from the main eventers, lol. It's sad, really, but a lot of road stories from the past would never have come if not for that.

Apart from a couple here and there, I wouldn't think the current salaries are that much different tbh, Probably less in some cases and more in others.

Those lower card guys who make under 100k a year must not be takin much home after taxes and traveling expenses. I wonder what Striker does to make money.

yup, i still hope one day i get to hear the 'incident' this past august at IHOP which involved tyler reks, trent barreta, curt hawkins, caylen croft, and vance archer

i remember all of them were tweeting how nothing will ever be the same again, IHOP is now ruined, and how hawkins is mentally scarred.

Basically the movie stars get the big money deals, everybody else makes a smaller amount. Needless to say though, all upper card talent are really comfortable financially and everyone is living the dream so many is just a bonus.

I remember in an interview Charlie Haas saying how he came back one month and had no money, due to travel expenses etc. Probably why he and Jackie opened a smoothie business.

I know they need to pay for their own hotels and rental cars but do they also pay for their flights? Thats a lot of money spent weekly.
Also, anyone know how PPV bonuses work?
