I watched WrestleMania 28 live on April 1st and thought it was pretty awesome.

Then the other day I picked up the DVD and decided to watch it again, and fucking hell. I LOVED it! I own every WM on DVD, without the censored WWF logo on some, and out of all of them, I always used to think that WrestleMania 19 was the GOAT. But after watching 28 again, I decided it was the GOAT. It had humourus entertainment, a dramatic type match with End of an Era, a solid wrestling match for wrestling purists, and a dream match let's see:

World Heavyweight Championship
Daniel Bryan w/ AJ vs. Sheamus

I know this wasn't exactly a popular match with you guys on this forum, but if you look at it from a casual fans view point, and an entertainment viewpoint over a wrestling viewpoint, it was actually pretty funny. I was annoyed at first, but then watching it again on DVD, it made sense. DB FINALLY got what he deserved. However, a proper wrestling match would have been awesome, but I'm not complaining.
7/10 (From and entertainment POV)

Kane vs. Randy Orton
A good, solid match to start off the undercard. Kane coming out with the victory probably made the most sense anyway, since Cole said at the beginning that Kane needed to win to prove he's a monster. Overall it was a good, physical match.
7/10

Intercontinental Championship Match
Cody Rhodes vs. The Big Show

Again, a decent match for the undercard, and it's nice to see one of the most prestigious titles in the world being defended on the grandest stage for wrestling! And it had a decent story behind it. Show made Cody look strong, but again, Show winning made sense, to get his WrestleMania moment.

Kelly Kelly/Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix/Eve
This match would probably be one of the main complaints of mine for the event. As far as I know, Trish Stratus was the one that was supposed to be teaming up with Kelly Kelly, but they had to bring in Maria Menounos, which failed for several reasons. For starters, Stratus would have been PERFECT in that match, bringing in a legendary diva for WM, GOD knows why they brought in Maria, for the media attention? Secondly, WWE didn't need another "celebrity" there at 'Mania, The Rock was already there, that's enough surely! And most importantly, I swear WrestleMania was a worldwide event. I'm from England. Before WM28, I had NO IDEA who the fuck Maria Menounos was! But overall, the match was, okay...ish.

End Of An Era
Hell In A Cell Match
The Undertaker vs. Triple H.
Special Referee: Shawn Michaels

WOW.
HOLY SHIT.
WOW.
This match had it all, dramatic storyline, epic entrances, epic referee, and oh yeah, HELL IN A CELL! Now I HATED their match at the previous years WrestleMania, I've watched it over about 4 times and it's probably the most overrated match in WWE history! But I had high hopes for this match and fuck me did it deliver! All three did this match perfectly, amazing facial expressions, moves, good use of weapons. The near falls were spectacular, the being able to hear Michaels yell at HHH to stop it was pure gold! They had be literally on the edge of my seat at 2:30am watching it live, especially when Michaels hit 'Taker with SCM, then 'Taker received a pedigree, AMAZING! Fantastic ending as well with all three helping eachother to the back! Match of the night!

Twelve Man Tag Team Match
Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy
Otunga/Swagger/Ziggler/Miz/Henry/McIntyre vs. Marella/Booker/Ryder/Khali/Kofi/Truth

Again, another match with a pretty decent reason to add these guys to the card! I loved the whole thing where the winning teams GM got to be GM of both shows and to be honest, going into the event, I had no idea who would win, but was rooting for Johnny all the way, and of course the outcome came to my liking. They did a good job of making sure everyone got some ring action, but if I'm honest, I didn't see much Otunga in the actual ring. The three superstars doing the summersault out of the ring was amazing, and the ending where The Miz won was awesome! The best part though was what Eve did afterwards, turning on Ryder, pure gold!
8/10

WWE Championship Match
CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho
If Punk gets DQ, he loses the title

Was going into this match with very high hopes of a WRESTLING match, and it delivered! Laurinitus' first GM decision came when he made the whole, if Punk gets DQ'ed, he loses the title, that was a nice touch that added certain dramatic moments in the match, like Jericho asking Punk "how's your FATHER!?", very nice! And the match very much delivered, back and forth action, amazing wrestling moves, amazing! Good finish as well, and both entrances were a nice touch!
9/10

Once In A Lifetime
The Rock vs. John Cena

One year of hype, did it deliver? In my opinion? Yes. The pre-match promo was goosebump worthy! And the entrances with MGK and Flo Rida were better than I thought, and the crowd were into it! Although in the match The Rock looked a little rusty, it all paid off eventually. Awesome back and forth match again, with some very awesome near falls! The ending was absolutely sensational, and seeing Cena loose was of course, a nice touch, and a nice way to send the fans home happy! Amazing match!
10/10

So yeah, WrestleMania 28 in my opinion is the GOAT, with WM19 in second and WM3 in third! Awesome matches, awesome Funkasaurus moment, and an amazing WrestleMania! Thank you WWE!

It was a great WrestleMania. But not the greatest of all time IMO. The undercard just wasn't very strong, and I guess some of that could be attributed to Wade Barrett's injury (MITB rumors were rampant), but other rumored undercard matches, like Orton vs. Del Rio, would have been nice as well. Also, any 18 second World Title match, no matter how instrumental it was in getting the loser over, is an absolute disgrace, especially to workers who can put on a hell of a match in only 12-15 minutes.

It was okay, certainly better than the previous wrestlemania (which was fucking terrible) but nowhere near being the best wrestlemania of all time. Also Rock/Cena doesn't deserve a 10/10 rating.

It's my favourite just because of one reason: was my first WM attendence! Just that 18 seconds Match wasn't the killer...I even missed it out because I grapped my bottle of water to drink!
For me that was the best WM of all Time, but that's just out of personal feelings...

A Top 10 WM IMO, but surely not even close to the GOAT tribute.

The first hour or so up to the hell in a cell is terrible, bar a passable Kane/Orton match in which the crowd didn't give a fuck cause they booked the best worker in the company to be squashed in 10 seconds about 5 minutes previously, in favour of a Brodus Clay dance segment/Flo Rida performance.

You replace the crap with the Bryan/Sheamus match from Extreme Rules and you have a much greater show.

It was a decent Wrestlemania, not the greatest though. 3 and 14 get my vote for being the greatest.

Aside from the first hour of this year's WrestleMania, everything else was pretty damn good and I enjoyed it. Not the best of all time, WM17 still has that honor, but it was still really good, and much better than WrestleMania 27.

11 Wrestlemanias after it havent done it. And as you know, the current product's becoming worse by every passing week with its limited ups and downs. Following conclusion: No!
What if in 5-10 years we get talent in the company that resembles that of the talent in the WWE at that time? Then it's definitely possible.
