– Last Friday’s SmackDown replay garnered a 1.52 cable rating, outdrawing the program’s live broadcast on Tuesday. The live show did a 1.50.

Friday’s airing garnered 2,300,000 viewers, topping the live show’s viewership of 2,250,000.

Friday’s replay also topped the previous live SmackDown replay on February 20, which averaged 2,240,000 viewers.
Fella draws only in replays? LOLWTF?

not surprising, they only ever advertise live smackdowns 24 hours before they air so most people don't know they're happening.

People must've heard about how awesome the Piper's Pit segment was. D-Bry still bringing in the viewers w/o the title.

Live edition was hardly advertised at all so most SD viewers didn't know it was on live on tuesday. But that 4.5 million total viewers for SD this past week which is a great #

Because people thought it was supposed to be a normal Friday Night SD,that's what happens when you announce a live show but never advertise it and people expect it in the usual date.

This. Exactly. Why is anyone surprised about these ratings? No one knew it was on Tuesday.

Yeah it really was the lack of advertising, I forgot it was on Tuesday until I came into the SD section here that night. Why don't they try out a live show in the regular slot on Friday?

The tuesday and friday viewers are not disjoint. In other words, there is most likely significant overlap and a lot of people watched it twice for whatever reason.

This. Let's not go nuts everyone. A bunch of people missed the show on Tuesday because WWE is shit at advertising live Smackdowns. Those people tuned in Friday, along with some people who already saw it Tuesday (for whatever reason. Who the fuck knows. Wrestling fans are weird, etc.)

I really cant imagine anyone would care to re-watch Smackdown. Last week was horrible except for DB/Piper segment.
