Would this scenario turn wrestling upside down =, and throw it back into a more mature product while also being the biggest heel turn in history.

Say at WM its Undertaker vs Wade Barrett and the undertaker hits the tombstone and goes for the pin then in comes Cena and hits the FU and throws wade over for the cover and ends the streak.

Although i would be sad to see the streak end i would be wholey intrigued to watch and see watch happens from then on in

i honestly think if they did a cena heel turn it would do wonders for WWE but they dont wanna risk losing all there kiddy audience because Cena is like there God

Just like Hogan was alot of our heros when he turned heel that could have sunk WCW but turned out to be one of if not the greatest plotline in wrestling history so you never know the Cena thing could do the same or just flop and WWE loses alot of its viewers.

While I'm sure all of us would be delighted with a Cena heel turn, it would be really stupid from a business standpoint. WWE is doing fine right now, and Cena is a big reason for their success. Wasn't there just a thread on here recently that said 2010 was one of their highest grossing years ever? I mean, at the end of the day WWE is still just a business whose main goal is to make $$$.

Costing Undertaker the streak would instantly be one of the greatest heel turns of all time, no matter who did it.
Yea but say Cena did it and he went heel. To do something that drastic would cause him to never be able to be a face again. He would be hated for the rest of his days.(by all fans over the age of 12). But i dont see why they dont try cena out as heel. (not by ending the streak) I mean if it didnt work all he would have to do is say his mind wasnt right and then start on his hustle respect gimmick and the little kids would love him all over again.

my mums uncles friends cat is related to a creative writers cat. this is all part of the BIGGER PICTURE

in all honesty though how many 12 year olds actually care about the streak?

a heel turn wouldnt have to be forever it would make the iwc hate cena even more but how much revenue would it lose? no one can really answer.

as epic as it could be the streak is something that shouldnt be broken unless its clean, and atm only cena is in a place to do it (which not many wants to see)

Costing Undertaker the streak would be a great way to turn Cena heel, but I wouldn't do it that way. If Cena and Taker face each other next year, Cena could win by blatantly cheating. That just seems like a bigger deal than helping Barrett win.

All of this is probably moot because Cena sells too much merch to the kids to be turned heel.

Maybe, but it's a terrible, terrible idea. One of the worst I've ever heard. It'd be an abomination and desecration of wrestling if it ever happened.
Agreed. That's a terrible idea.

And if it did happen I don't see it turning wrestling upside down...whatever that's supposed to mean.

I've always defended Undertaker's right to keep his Streak but I'm so over him at this point, I don't even think I'd care anymore provided it was Barrett or Punk who did it. I don't know why Cena would be doing this, but whatever. Go for it.

It wouldn't turn wrestling upside down, but it would cause a major shake up. People would pay more attention for a while, either for the right or the wrong reasons, but it wouldn't really be a new era or anything.

If Taker is going to be forced to lose at WM (this year or the next), he should be able to choose his opponent. There have been suggestions of DiBiase Jr. and Barrett. Really? I would rather see a vet take him out, or someone who is already a superstar and a face, someone who will respect Taker at the end of the match.

Letting Barrett ruin Taker's streak...it just feels like Vince would be spitting on Taker.

Plus, Cena would be hated, big time, and few would forgive him. Might as well call out a plan for Cena to attack Taker before his WM match, leaving him busted open and injured, and have Taker come out and get trucked by Al Snow in five minutes.

The streak should end eventually. It's an easy match to include on a DVD on Taker's career and will be a huge boost to whoever defeats him. It's not like 20 years from now people are going to care overmuch for Taker's streak. There is probably little interest in Flair and Hogan merchandise now and next to zero in Sammartino's. The opportunity to use the end of the streak as a big deal to tune into needs to be used before its gone. Not enough build for it to happen this year but next year I can see it happening.

I think they should keep the Undertaker's streak. It's not every day someone can go 20-0 at wrestlemania. Heck I bet you'd be hard pressed to find wreslters that can survive 20 wrestlemanias.
