What if these two clashed would Lesnar have defeated Hogan circa Golden Era and become an afterthought be it politics, favoritism etc or would Vince prefer his more legit golden boy with all the UFC press and so on.

-Rock put over Lesnar.

-Austin was meant to put over Lesnar

-Cena was lol squashed

-Roman is never going to beat him clean or decisively without some shananigans.

Goldberg is the only guy who could ever realistically beat Brock clean so that begs the question would Hogan have dethroned or put the Beast down if they were to actually have a proper feud together since I could see Vince a little torn between this fantasy match up tbh.

Before anyone brings up their match in 2002 just know that was obviously Hogan at the tail end of his career so his loss made sense.

Re: Would Prime Hulk Hogan had gone over Current Lesnar in the same era?

A prime Hulk hogan would've given Brock a run for his money.

Golden Era 50's lol...

Name taken just stop.

80's is the Rock N Wrestling Era, Hogan Era, National Rebirth Era, Cable Era ........any of those I've heard but the Golden Era is the 50's.

Okay "Get off my lawn guy" in the house.

But to your actual question probably

Like most fantasy matches, it depends on the era. Current Lesnar is not a draw, so Hogan would've beaten him in the 80's. If the match happens in the current era, Lesnar treats him like Braun.

Neither person would be successful in the others era because Lesnar is nothing more than a generic monster, and that was fodder for Hogan in the 80's, and Hogan is too bad of a worker to make it today.

If Hogan doesn't win the first match, he'll get the second and tiebreaker before moving on to the next monster of the month.

Which Vince is booking the match, Vince now or 80's Vince? :lol
Was coming in to say something similar. Current Vince would have Hogan losing to Brock in 3 minutes to a single F5 lol. 80's Vince would make the match a little more suspenseful, at least.

Definitely.. Remember Hogan wanted to go over Steve Austin when Hulk was clearly old even though that would`ve been quite stupid... ..and also convinced Vince that going over Shawn in a one off instead of a best of 3 was best for business..Shawn wasnt a slouch either when it came to politics with Vince so that was quite the feat .. So, what chance does Brock have who is more of a loyal soldier kinda guy, does what he is told as long as money is paid...

Prime Hogan or Flair just wouldn't fit this current era, they'd have to be really willing to adapt their styles, basically what Tyrion said

A prime Hogan actually helped make the business Lesnar is leeching off right now.

Hogan would have vanquished him like he did Bundy, Giant, and anyone else that lied in his wake.

Hogan made the money, and Lesnar? Would have obliged because he loves the money and wants to be with Hogan in the main event for it.

Hogan would go over anyone and everyone, even Lesnar. Thats just how he was booked. Its not like Lesnar is in the position that Warrior was then.

Hogan would of gone over. Lets not forget, he was a draw, unlike the other guy who is more of a leach at this point

Hogan was a much bigger draw and money maker. Hogan's entire first peak was built on him stopping unstoppable monsters. He would have King Kong Bundied Lesnar.
