Would now be the best time to dump the WWE "spinner" belt?

I think the belt has well overstayed its welcome. It should have been changed back in "The Age of Orton" period in late-07/08 imo after Cena's over one year reign ended. Or at the very least the title Cena holds when he's champion. Every WWE Champion since 2005 has basically been holding "Cena's Title" as far as I'm concerned.

The perfect time would have been last year when Punk first won it. I have given up hope of Vince changing it any time soon. They must sell way to much of the spinner belts to kids thats the only reason i can think of as to why it wasn't changed when Punk won it this time last year.

But they really need a new belt, the spinner belt looks like a toy, if you look at the WHC title thats what all belts should aim to look like, or the NWA title, that not some spinner shit like the wwe title.

Another problem i have with it is that it's Cena's belt, no matter who's holing the title, if its Punk or HHH, you still know the belt was made for Cena, it doesn't look right on most of the other guys on the roster.

Anytime would be the best time to drop the Spinney Belt.

Perfect time was when Punk won it last year. Now, sure change is ASAP. But either Cena or Rock will change it. Wait 'nd see.

The best time for it to be dumped when after 10 seconds of being introduced by John Cena on Smackcown back in 2005. However that title should’ve been Cena’s trademark but that’s it, I couldn’t believe they actually kept that disgraceful toy of a Professional Wrestling title for years to come. Triple H, Randy Orton, Batista, CM Punk, Edge and even the freakin Miz look stupid wearing that disgraceful title.

BUT don't you folks think AFTER this past 1000# RAW also is a great timing too? I mean it will mark a change for things to come.

Last week on Raw 1000 would have been the PERFECT time to change the design. I guess Raw 1001 and is also a great time but I just don't see them changing it now. I'm starting to think we'll never get rid of that hunk of shit.

If Punk comes out on Monday and say's he's sick of Cena being the main event, he's sick of holding a belt that was made for Cena's and throws it down, then says he's going to give the title a revival, then yeah it would be a great time to get a new one.

I want a new title but you need to give them a reason to do it.

They've should have gotten rid of it 3 years ago. Plus Cena doesn't have that persona when he introduced it and even he said it was time for a new belt. They only have the belt for merchandise sales at this point.

If they plan on having Cena win it anytime soon then theirs no point changing it, if not Punk changes it ASAP.

It's never changing, not until Vince is dead.

Would a new belt not sell well also simply because the kids have to have the piece of merch?

Way too many, and I've forgotten that it was a spinner belt. Doesn't spin anymore, but it's been time to get a new belt.

This is exactly what I wish will happen this coming RAW.

I personally love the Spinner belt, but yes, it's really time to change it. Even Cena himself wants it. Perfect time for it would be when The Rock wins it at the Royal Rumble. He comes out the next night on Raw, mocks that belt (setting up Rock/Cena II as well), throws it in a dumpster in the ring and brings out the new belt.

Lol, Edge's name is still on the third pic. I guess they brought back the belt that was thrown into the sea and were too lazy to put Cena's name on it. And Cena looks pretty sad on the second pic after their TLC match.
