This is my first BTB without a partner. I decided on the 2008 time frame , obviously. Important note is that The ECW brand is disbanded, as well as the ECW Championship. Didn't have any idea of what i was going to do with the ECW brand, so i just disbanded it. Most of the ECW stars are split bettween the RAW brand and Smackdown brand, and the ones that are not, were released, or either sent to development, which is Florida Championship Wrestling. This is right after Wrestlemania 24, with the same results. However, i plan on not keeping the same storylines before wrestlemania, except a few of them, to add a new feel to things. That's all really, and here goes nothing.

From PWinsider.com

Off the heels of Wrestlemania 24, and the World Wrestling Entertainment is happy to announce that it was a big sucess. Millions of fans lined up, for a pure treat, with every match being atleast a bit of interesting. But the WWE feels a need to shake i up a bit, despite the success of Wrestlemania. Rumor has it, the WWE is planning on having it's annual draft soon. Perhaps, as soon as after the Judegment Day pay per view.

Also, after Wrestlemania went off of air, Vince McMahon have let announced that the ECW brand will no longer be active, and apart of WWE Wrestling. And many of the ECW superstars are mixed up between the two main brands, of RAW and Smackdown!, released, or was sent to development, to be called up for a later date.

Speaking of Development, many of the up and coming superstars down in Florida Championship Wrestling has caught the chairman's eye. A few of those names are David Hart Smith and TJ Wilson, better known as the Hart Dynasty.

In other news, Monday Night RAW has two of it's big superstars back, as Jeff Hardy is offically OFF of suspension, and Rob Van Dam is back after his short break. And over on Smackdown, former World Heavyweight Champion, Rey Mysterio is back from his Injury.

Rumor has it, is that two top stars in TNA, contracts are expiring soon, and TNA might not renew them. It's undisclosed of whom they are, and no other information have been stated, but we will keep you updated.

And in closing, there is only one match that have been comfirmed for this weeks Monday Night RAW, with Cody Rhodes taking on Carlito, in a interesting about. Make sure you tune in.
Just the first of the news for this thread. A preview should be up in the next couple of days, and followed by the actual show, closly behind.

WWE Monday Night RAW Preview - March 31st, 2008

Off the heels of Wrestlemania 24, RAW comes to you live, from Orlando, Florida. The Citrus Bowl was blasting, as the superstars of the World Wrestling Entertainment displayed a show like they never have seen before. This weeks RAW comes from a place not to far from the Wrestlemania XXIV venue, as RAW will be held in the Amway Arena in Orlando. Off the outskirts of the biggest night of the year, what will Monday Night RAW have in store for their fans?

To many peoples dismay, Randy Orton defeated Triple H and John Cena to retain his WWE Championship, in triple threat action for the Title, last night at Wrestlemania. You can reassure that the WWE Champion's Ego is on full attack, and bigger than it has ever been, as he overcome all of the doubters, and overcame all of the odds to walk with the WWE Championship still in his possession. What will the WWE Champion, the " One Man Dynasty", Randy Orton, have to say about his victory over two of the biggest stars that the World Wrestling Entertainment has had the chance to witness. Will a new challenger step up to "Legend Killer"? Or will "The Game" Triple H, and "The Champ" John Cena have something to say to the man who defeated them both at Wrestlemania?

In shocking and sad news, Ric Flair's storybook career has come to sudden end, as he was defeated by his long time friend, and pal, "The Showstopper" Shawn Michaels. After Vince made the announcement that if Ric Flair losses a match, 4 months ago, he would force to retire on the spot. Ric Flair will make his farewell address tonight on this edition of Monday Night RAW, and with majority if now, all of the WWE Superstars will have sympathy, and will show their respect and gratitude towards Ric, however will the man that beat him, Shawn Michaels show the samething, considering he didn't really want to grow through with this? And what will the superstars of the WWE have to say about Shawn Michaels, and what he did at Wrestlemania?

Wrestlemania is not known for many annual things, but the annual Money In the Bank ladder match indeed happened last night, as the "Straight Edge Savior", so to speak, CM Punk grab the briefcase, and is now considered mister Money In The Bank. Outlasting many of the top WWE superstars of today, CM Punk now has the right to cash the Money In The Bank briefcase, ANYTIME he pleases. And that only leads us to wonder, when will finally cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase. This week on Monday Night RAW, CM Punk goes one on one with Paul Burchill, in what should be an interesting about. Will Mr. Money In The Bank prevail, or will he "The Ripper" get the victory?

In regards to the success of last night Wrestlemania, and how well it went for Monday Night RAW, William Regal has announced that Cody Rhodes and Carlito will square off one on one. Mr. Regal even went on to say that their might even be a Tag Team championship match at a later date if Carlito was to beat Cody Rhodes. Will Carlito earn himself some momentum and a potential World Tag Team Championship shot, or will the young, Cody Rhodes prove why he is one on half the World Tag Team Champions?

The Intercontinental Champion, Chris Jericho, came up short in the Money In The Bank ladder match, which was won by CM Punk. However, he has his Championship to worry about now, as their will be a Number One Contender match to see whom he will face at Backlash between John Bradshaw Layfield and newest Monday Night RAW superstars, Kofi Kingston. And Chris Jericho will also be in action, as he goes one on one with "The Gold Standard", Shelton Benjamin, in what should be a good one on one contest between the two great superstars. Will Chris Jericho gain to some momentum going into his title defense at backlash, or will the Number One Contender, whom ever it may be, gain it?

Rob Van Dam is expected to make his debut on tonight edition of Monday Night RAW, as well as Jeff Hardy, after being suspended. What kind of impact will these two make, as they re-debut after a short absent from both men?

2 of the divas they were apart of the the Wrestlemania XXVI, well go one on one, as Beth Phoenix takes on Ashley. Beth Phoenix has alot of momentum going into this match, and is already picked as the favorite to win this match, as Ashley plans on proving her credits wrong, beating Beth Phoenix. We could only think that if Ashley was to gain an upset victory over Beth, that she would get a Women's Championship Match at Backlash. Will Ashley gain an upset, by defeating the current women's champion, Beth Phoenix, or will Beth Phoenix once again prove why she is the Women's Champion?

Tun in to RAW to watch this and more, as RAW comes to you live 9/8ct, in HD!

~ Planned For RAW ~
Ric Flair's Farewell Address
Cody Rhodes vs Carlito
JBL vs Kofi Kingston - Number One Contender match for the Intercontinental Championship
Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho vs Shelton Benjamin
Mr. Money In The Bank CM Punk vs Paul Burchill
Women's Champion Beth Phoenix vs Ashley
