Other "sources" are still reporting he's in. So ya know, i don't think any of these sheets really know dick about fuck. We will find out in 8 days.
This is the most interesting question. IF Rock does come back, will he take the belt? If he does, will he then disappear until the next PPV where he drops it to? For him to get a match he'd also need to win the RR. I dunno. I forget who but someone had the idea of Roman defending both belts one night each. That way he can drop one belt to Cody and the other to Rock. Even if Rock disappears and doesn't defend it for a few months they still have Cody there.
For Rock to vacate the belts the next night? Why?Why can't he lose to Rock?
From my experience in sports betting it would seem he's such a huge favorite to win it that they took him off the board. They probably have no idea if he's in it or not so they can't put him in it as an underdog.
Figured he'd have been lower than +400. I take it Cody is the favorite and I would guess Seth 2nd favorite? I'd definitely bet Rock at +400. WWE would do everything in their power to prevent Meltzer from knowing if he was actually gonna be in it.
Those are low odds for Sami I can't see him winning the Rumble but maybe a title shot at Elimination Chamber in Montreal after The Bloodline kicks him out. Do they have odds on Roman winning it I could see that like someone else mentioned and then The Rock comes out?
Rock won’t be in the Rumble. I confirmed that with his people just a moment ago. And yes, I know I am only slightly more of a reliable source than Xero and Meltzer.
I did also confirm that they are still going to have Rock face Roman at ‘Mania. Night One will feature Roman dropping one of his titles to Cody, with Roman facing Rock on Night Two - with the current plan being for Roman to retain his other title.
My understanding is that Rock is being saved as a surprise for ‘Mania - with him somehow costing Roman the win on night one, setting up a Rock-Roman match for night two. For which title, I don’t know. I know that Cody would probably prefer the WWE title given the context he referenced regarding his reasoning for a WWE return last year.
It’s also my understanding that if Rock cancels his commitment to the event - they do have a back-up plan - with that being to have Stone Cold Steve Austin do the same plan. Rock is their first choice, but SCSA is being kept off RAW next week to avoid speculation on him possibly returning for another match this year after having had one last year if he is needed. I’m unsure if they will still factor in SCSA in ‘Mania plans if Rock is still committed to WM.
