I have had no desire to see him in the ring since 2004. Didnt even care for the Cena feud.

well, it was being teased from multiple angles. Roman was commenting on it. Heyman was commenting on it. The rock made some remarks. All of this amidst dirt sheet reports that this was trying to be facilitated.

And even from this report, it’s basically saying that this was the plan but wasn’t able to secure it. So there was pretty clearly something to those rumors.

Sure but people refer to anything and anyone in wrestling angles to inflate it, get heat or praise. Doesn't mean it rings true. I don't get why this ever got steam, as if Dwayne Johnson could give a toss to do a wrestling match in his busy acting schedule of 2-3 movies a year for a 2-3 month wrestling program.

WWE have been posting videos to YouTube featuring The Rock every hour for days now.

It's still more unlikely than likely that he'll actually wrestle but they're teasing the hell out of it so I'm going to wait and see rather than take note of Uncle Dave.

Its meltzer so this means nothing. Still, no idea why anybody thought rock was coming back.

They did setup Rock v Cena a year in advance. Just because Rock is being teased now doesn't mean he was wrestling.
