Hopefully not. Let him stay on SD and win the World title however many times, I don't care. I'd like him away from the WWE title. He simply doesn't interest me in any way.

I hope so. Raw is at its worst in it's 20 year history. Him as champion could be fresh after the recent stale years where it's been all about Cena and Punk.

The only way I can see it happening is if they sent Punk to Smackdown. Smackdown would be screwed without Orton over there.

He's still young, so the odds are in his favor. Just not in the immediate future hopefully.

I dont think so when orton was wwe champion bas 07-08 the ratings was 3.3-3.7

I dont think so, its a big problem for him, He's only 32 but he's already done everything there is to do in wwe, and now he's stuck in the middle not doing much and he's become boring, he's already a 9 time world champ and they cant just keep giving him world title runs so he has something to do like Cena.

I'm not a fan of the guy but he needs to be doing something again.

Orton is bland and he fucking SUCKS. His matches are a chore to tolerate...the Layla/Kaitlyn/Eve build has been MUCH more watchable than crap with Orton and Ziggler.

You know the phrase "You dont know what you got until its gone". Yea thats how I feel about Orton, I am actually missing the guy being a top dog and being on Raw. Never thought i'd say it but I am.

This. Until some big star moves to Smackdown, Orton needs to stay there.

And getting to the OP, yes. He's still got rougly 10 years in him. That's a whole career in some cases.

And it's funny that people here are claiming if Orton gets the strap on RAW, ratings will plummet.

You do know his 2009 reign peaked at 4.7, don't you?

We will but not yet. The title scene is full 'till mania. Maybe after that. I really hope he will be champion as a heel. He bores me to death as a face.

It was actually 4.1 but it's still way above anything WWE gets nowadays and those that say "Orton kills ratings" are full of shit.

I don't think so, I don't think WWE have enough faith in him to be a champ, maybe a WHC champ but mainly a veteran to put others over.

Its possible, obviusly. But I doubt it. I dont think the WWE has a lot of faith in him. 2 strikes. Hes a timebomb.

It was the highest rating since 2002. Orton-HHH build up was great. Too bad the match itself sucked.
