I think he's already paid his dues, but why hasn't he won any titles yet, especially the U.S. title? It's funny that R-Truth had won it yet Evan hasn't, Evan deserves it better than anyone else in the roster imo because he puts more entertaining performances than most other midcarders. He got a proper push during his feud with Jericho yet WWE pulled the plug all of sudden for some reason. Yeah he's small but considering the size of most WWE wrestlers aren't overly big i don't think that's the real reason, even Rey is still dominating right now despite his size. His lackluster mic skill should not be an excuse either since they barely let him talk, and some U.S. champions in the recent past generally don't get a lot of mic time anyway (except for The Miz, perhaps). I personally hope by the time he returns from injury he will get involved in a program with the U.S. champion at that time, CM Punk perhaps? They should pick up where they left off, and their matches will make a great tv every week.

The guy is one of my personal favourites, but he is just lost in the Raw roster. Stick him on SD, give him the IC title in a few months when Ziggler is done with it. He deserves some gold.

He has a great move-set for sure and his wrestling style is pleasing on the eyes but he just doesnt have the it factor for me. He comes out with a stupid cheesy grin on his face throwing the peace sign up when he gets in the ring, in addition to this his mic skills are horrid, if he could work on his character a bit and not just be a a full out boring babyface he might win a few more people over.

As for the US title he definitely doesn't deserve it over Danielson and Punk but somewhere down the line if he doesn't get realeased I'm sure he'll win it.

I'd say no, because his role on the roster is solely to put people over, not to win titles. Then again, there's been some hugely uncredible champions in the past, but I don't think the WWE have anything at all planned for him, and I don't care if they ever do. The guy's just so damn dull.

I hope so. Guy deserves it. I mean anyone and their nan has seemingly become a mid level champion in the past few years so I don't see any reason why a talent like Evan Bourne can't be given a shot.

Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk vs. Evan Bourne, Ladder Match for the US Title at Wrestlemania anyone? Three indy darlings, three threat, ladder match with a title on the line at Wrestlemania? Also that could fill the spotfest void if the MITB is left off the card as rumoured.

Although I would much prefer Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk for the US Title in a 20 minute classic at Mania. So we'll leave the triple threat ladder match for Extreme Rules perhaps.

He defo has a shot i'd go as far as even to say he'll win a world title.Well,It's hard to call really ,I personally think he has a decent shot .
He's plays an excellent babyface in perill and will probably be the new "underdog" once Mysterio leaves.Cena as we know is very high on him and this always helps ,and he was mixing it up with some uppercard wrestlers before was injured. He's really young ,has a very crowd pleasing moveset and is really over and suits the PG era perfect in my opinion.I honestly hope he does as I have massive respect for Bourne and think he's payed his dues and is one of the most underrated wrestlers on the roster.I'd take a bourne reign over a Morrison reign any day of the week.

Bourne is one of the reasons they should bring back the cruiser-weight title but also a reason why they shouldn't.

if they did he could win it and we could all be happy that he's won a title.

But, if he did win it then the chances of him climbing the ladder to win the US title are much slimmer, the belt would hold him (and all cruiser-weights) back.

That and the fact that they barely know how to book their World Titles half the time.

But as you said something like a Cruiserweight Title is a catch 22. While it would give guys like Bourne, Tatsu, Kaval etc some direction and to actually wrestle over, they would almost never be able to break away from that stigma. Sure Rey Mysterio did it but he's truly a one in a million.

I don't have the game yet, but I watch Rey's RTW on Youtube. There's a reason WWE doesn't put Bourne on the mic, hence why they don't push him either. In WWE, you need personality, not just wrestling skills, to be pushed.

The only reason he got pushed was because he was crazy over and his merchandise was selling hugely. Evan Bourne doesn't have the type of overness Jeff had.
Yeah, not trying to compare them both but Jeff Hardy is a high-flyer and has eye-pleasing movesets and he doesn't rely on the mic often to put himself over, sounds kinda like Evan Bourne situation, right? And it also takes years for him to finally get the type of overness he's got now, so in theory Bourne actually still has a chance to reach the same success since he's still very young. Never say never.

1.jeff was waaaay over with the crowd.the biggest hater you could find knows that.

2.wwe made a lot of money on his merchandise.

3.HHH was behind his push.

besides i love seeing evan bourne get his ass beat in the ring because the way he sells his opponents moves looks great.

No he'll never win it, because he's nothing more than a jobber, besides he couldnt cut a decent promo to save his life

1. I don't think Evan needs Jeff Hardy-type heat to get at least a US Title run. Several past and present US Champs like Daniel Bryan, The Miz, R-Truth, etc aren't that much over than Evan Bourne.

2. I don't know about the current merch sales but i'm not sure lots of people would buy Daniel Bryan merch and he's the current US champion.

3. He did put Jeff over to elevate him. But i think Jeff earned it, so he deserved it, he's put his body on the line for years to entertain people. Evan is still young and he's been putting terrific performance so far in his WWE run, so i think he also deserves a title run, US title at least.

He's a great seller indeed, but his offenses are great too, his moves look legit hurt so i don't understand why he's booked like a jobber most of the time since they've already got Zack Ryder and Primo to fill that role.

Jeff Hardy actually has something about people to like about him. Other than his wrestling skills, do you really think people can get behind Bourne? A pornstar can act better than him.

He has a very babyface-ish look which really appeal to the kids, and sometimes you just have to be so good at what you do (which in Evan's case is wrestling), so yeah i think several people can get behind him. I'm not saying he should get pushed to the moon anytime soon, it's just that he's way too talented only to become an enhancement talent, and i think he deserves a title run as a way to acknowledge his talent.

1. Those three are much more over than Bourne now.

2. No comment.

3. Eh, I don't like Hardy so I don't think he earned it. If WWE was like ROH, Bourne would be a multiple time World champion. But they care about personality and how you carry yourself. Look at Wade Barrett, he's not very good in the ring but when he talks on the mic, you actually forget about that.

The only thing is that Zack Ryder and Primo are heel jobbers. You need face jobbers too.
