Considering his broken and worn out body, do you think Edge will at least be able to pull off an "Austin" once in a while?

By Austin I mean: Pay a visit on a PPV and hopefully give someone a SPEAR once in a while.
I mean, his body can't be THAT hurt, can it?

I'm sure he'll be paying us a visit once in a while, but I'm not sure if he will "Guest Spear" ppl.
I personally believe he will be able to, but you never know :/
His injuries are really, really bad.

If he can't Guest Spear ppl in the future, there will be no tension in the air when he makes an appearance.

... But what am I talking about? Of course he will be able to spear ppl once in a while.
At least I hope we will... No, no, no - He definitely will!

He said he'll be back in the future, but only in an Austin role. I personally see one more match for him somewhere down the line.

I'm thinking that they'll definitely use him as some sort of on-air talent (manager, announcer, GM) down the road.

I don't know man. Edge's injury is pretty f*cked up. As he himself even and sources have stated, he has sporadic numbness in his arms and hands. Also, if there wasn't such a threat to his health but he had to retire, then i'm pretty sure he would have finished his feud or done one better than Del Rio. That there kinda tells me that his injury was "one more injury and you are in a wheelchair." If there was a chance of him coming back to do guest spears, its going to be down the line. WAY DOWN the line.

I really doubt it, with the injury in his neck the spear doesn't sound like a great idea. You notice that Austin's stunners are pretty blatantly pulled up short since his retirement, I am sure it is to avoid any impact to his neck as well.

Yeah i reckon so. Wouldn't be surprised to see him do another match in 5 years time or something. It's true that no one really retires in wrestling.

I wouldn't expect to see him back on WWE television for a while. The send off they gave him on SD! sounded like it was really elaborate (that's not a spoiler...any idiot knew that was coming) and I don't think they want to tarnish that.

I am sure Edge will still be involved with the company, whether as an ambassador/advocate for WWE or traveling on the road once and a while to help talent backstage. It sounds like a lot of the younger talent looked up to him and seeked out his advice. I could absolutely see him being used at press confrences or in interview as he is extremely well spoken, a good looking guy and the personification of what a "superstar" in this business really is.

As far as us seeing one last Spear or something...I really wouldn't bet on that at all. Edge's injury is very serious and something that can't be played around with. Maybe in a few years, but not any time soon.

To be honest, as much as I like Edge I have to wonder what he can offer if he isn't wrestling? Austin has a huge personality and can excite a crowd just by turning up and talking shit. Has Edge got enough personality for that?

I'm not really someone who gets off to watching a man kill himself for my enjoyment. Edge has offered plenty of entertainment during his prime. Another spear at the risk of his health for me to see something I've seen hundreds of times is pointless.
