Will BFG 2012 be best best BFG so far? That's a tough question, especially when you look back at some of the great matches at the previous BFG's. AJ Styles vs. Daniels (2005) Styles/Daniels vs. LAX (2006) Angle vs. Sting (2007) Angle vs. Jarrett (2008) Sting vs. Styles (2009) Angle vs. Hardy vs. Anderson (2010) Bully Ray vs. Anderson (2011). Those are just my favorite on each previous one. But back to the question. I like to think it will be the best BFG to date. Why? Cause the build so far. The BFG series and the Aces&8s. Both were tied in a way, but still making me wanna get the ppv. Now you can start to put together the matches. Jeff Hardy challenging Austin Aries for the World title. Aries has been on a roll over the past year. Winning a contract, the X division title, and now the World title. Having him go against arguably the most popular wrestler in TNA, Jeff Hardy. He's proven himself since he has came back. It's a money making match. And a hell of a main event. Then you have James Storm and Bobby Roode. These two been at each others throats for almost a year. Haven't had a match together since Lockdown. It's gonna be a great match, and it should have a crazy stipulation. Fans want a war with these two. Now to Aces&8s, are we gonna see a multiple man match at BFG? Yes, we have to. Can't have all this build and not have a match, that's a given. Who's in it? Who's the inside man? Who's the leader? I'm sure we will figure that out heading in or at BFG. Those are gonna be the three vocal points. Main events. The undercard will be awesome too. The World tag team champions(of the world) Kaz & Daniels being champions. having Styles/Angle and Chavo/Hernandez gunning for them should make for a great tag match. If they go with a 3-Way for the titles. Either way, gonna be good. Then you have a feud with Tara and Tessmacher over the KO title should make for a decent match. Can't forget about the XDivision. With the champion, Zema Ion. And guys like Dutt, King, and Kash. They are sure to be exciting as usual.

I like to think that it is gonna be the best to date. And I'm counting down the days to Bound for Glory. TNA has made 2012 there year, TNA has been hot while WWE has been stale. I predict BFG to be a GREAT PPV with GREAT MATCHES. Best TNA ppv of the year so far? It has the potential to be. We have to wait and see.

That is true, 2007 was a great one.
I thought 2011 was gonna be it, but... I was very mistaken. I expected Angle/Roode to be a long technical match. It was barely 15 if I'm not mistaken. Still a good match, but the ending and the length of the match didn't help at all.

I hate this, wwe fans say the same about wrestlemania every year too.
It's like making a movie review after a trailer.

The tag team title match has the most probability of being great. The two main events COULD be "great", but I fear may end up being just "good". If Storm-Roode and Aries-Hardy deliver big time along with the tag match, then it could be the best BFG of all time.

I think its best to see the matches first. Last years Bound For Glory looked like the best show of the year before hand. But it ended completely flat and the card didn't flow well at all. Sting and Hogan killed the crowd as well because they was exhausted afterwards.

It all depends on the atmosphere in Phoenix and how the top matches deliver.weve already seen this year what a great crowd can do for a show (Slammi) and what a bad crowd can do for a show(lockdown)

I think a lot will hinge on the main event atmosphere. If people really buy Aries as a top level guy with a known talent like hardy and also if they buy into the face vs face dynamic if neither turns before the show. Like I said, this is tnas version of Punk vs Cena and they wanna capitalize on it.

One thing I'll say though, they should not put Roode vs Storm or anything involving Hogan or Sting on directly before the main. Roode and storm should have a wild bloodbath that a great technical back and forth might not beagle to top and Hogan and Stng are Hogan and Sting.(as we saw last year, like it or not)

I believe it has what it takes to be the best BFG ever. The three-way tag match looks great, Roode v Storm is awesome and Aries v Hardy could do better than expected. On top of this we have Aces and Eights, Joey Ryan and whatever the X Division has to throw at us too. I look forward to this much more than Wrestlemania. Cannot wait till October! :)

Aries vs Hardy: I like this match. Any match Austin Aries is in is automatically good-great and Hardy is a pro at selling, think this could be really good.

Storm vs Roode: Will be a good match, I'm glad it's not the Mainevent though.

AJ/Angle vs Chavo/Hernandez vs Daniels/Kaz: Should be an entertaining match, I'm glad it's this and not a 2 on 2.

Miss Tessmacher vs Tara Meh. I'm surprised Mickie James isn't involved in this, though I'm not a fan of hers anyway. I'll be peeing during this.

Joey Ryan vs Al Snow I'd like to see this at BFG and I think we will. Will be cool to see Joey Ryan on the big stage and I hope the 5k fans in the GCU Arena know what to do during the introduction of Al Snow with Head. Finally get Joey Ryan on the roster and he can bring some sleaze to the X Division.

Samoe Joe vs Magnus Eh, don't know what to expect from this. Joe seems to be at his best vs'ing little guys, so I guess this will be a bit of a brawl. Not expecting much from this feud or match.

Zema Ion vs Dutt? Hope this match involves more then Dutt/Ion. I like Dutt, but I prefer X Division to be 3 - 4+ way matches. Unless an X Original like Petey returns, really no one to throw into this match to get me very interested.

Team TNA vs Aces and 8s If this happens, I'm guessing the team will be RVD, Bully Ray, Mr Anderson, and The Icon Sting which is cool with me. I really look forward to this match and how much of Aces and 8s is revealed that night will be important to how good I find the PPV.

Lot of former parters facing each other in this show:

We are probably going to get Magnus Vs. Joe, Tara Vs. Tessmacher is set to go, and we called Roode/Storm as far back as Lockdown.

My thoughts on all the BFGs:

2005 = They took lemons and made lemonade with the main event. After losing Nash for their title match, they actually booked Rhino very strong to be able to take his place and it all came off really well. It could have been a disaster, but in the end, it ended up pretty good. Also, Monster's Ball & 30 Minute Iron Man matches were really good and most of the rest of the card was solid with a couple of mindless fillers in there. The worst part was the botched ending of the Ultimate X Match.

2006 = Awesome show. It was TNA's first PPV outside of Orlando and it had a great atmosphere. Pretty much everything was fun to watch and it was a high energy action packed show from start to finish, and having Kurt Angle there fresh off his jump to TNA added a lot as well.

2007 = The Best PPV in TNA History IMO. I am not even going to elaborate on that. Just go watch it and you'll see why I feel that way. At the very least, it should be in everyone's Top 5 TNA PPVs of all time.

2008 = Another great show with some strong main events like Joe/Sting,, Angle/Jarrett, and the AJ/Booker/Christian 3 Way and was just generally exciting all around.

2009 = A couple of missteps away from being a truly awesome show, but there were a lot of really good components here and overall, it was a lot of fun to watch.

2010 = This one collapsed under the weight of the "THEY" swerve bullshit that we all saw coming a mile away. There were some good matches on here, but nothing truly special, and the ending was so eyeroll inducing that I have to consider this the worst BFG by far.

2011 = Actually a really good show...until the ending. Roode not winning the World Title really robbed this show of a kick ass ending. Looking back on it, they were able to repair Roode after that, but it still cuased the show to fall flat. I enjoyed most of the show beforehand, even Sting Vs. Hogan, much to my surprise, but that ending really left a sour taste in my mouth.

Oh wow, I didn't even realize! Sure to be good! Except the KO. Decent at best, but maybe they can pull a good match. Who knows.
