Because he's 51, and probably unwilling to meet demand WWE put on it's superstars when it comes to traveling. TNA, while Busch League, offered a level of stabilty as far as traveling goes.
Also, Sting is a bit dellusional, wanting to be known as the biggest star NOT to wrestle for Vince. 20 years from now..... be prepared for "Sting who.. the Singer" when you ask the next generation who Sting is. Let us not forget, Vince owns ALL the WCW footage of him, and I can't name one wrestler, who out right boycotted WWE, who ended up getting honored by Vince? Sting doesn't come in, no WWE HOF, no DVD released, no Biography... his name will be forgotten decaded from now... the winner writes history, and vince is the winner
