1. Incomparable money even as a starting point, let alone if you manage to make it big.

Ambrose was probably making $25k in FCW and is now making over a million a year, +40x the money.


2. Following your dream. These guys want to hold the titles their heroes held and create their own legacies.

It's not that NXT champion isn't an achievement or headlining Arrivals but it pales in comparison to the WWE title and Wrestlemania.


3. Wrestling 'moments' are influency hugely by crowds and Kayfabe.

Zane beating Neville may seem like a big NXT moment but if Zane won the big-one at WM, his NXT title win is a footnote on his career. The crowd size and reaction isn't even comparable.

4. You believe in yourself.

If your happy to stay in NXT your a chump who thinks your going nowhere on the main roster. Exactly the kinda thing we know Vince and HHH hate, you'd likely be released.

What about the guys that stay In. NJPW like Kenny Omega? He is a chump
