Big Miz fan here but he’s already been drug down to the abyss by Shane the past few months. They literally have done everything they could to destroy the guy.

Unpopular opinion here but Miz and Shane had one of the best feuds going into WM and they had stellar performances that showcased the Miz in a totally different light than he's ever been shown before. He's fallen off since the Shane feud but it's the freaking Miz, he always has a good spot on the card.

Its not like Miz can get any lower than he already is. He's one of the only babyfaces in WWE that hardly ever wins and is endlessly squashed every week. His role at the moment is be trotted out and fed to Shane every now and then, working with Ziggler would be a massive improvement whether you like Dolph or not.
I honestly dont see what kind of story they could tell between the two that would have any real buzz or interest. If the feud ultimately rehabs Miz then fine but its Dolph Ziggler we're talking about here.

This thread seems to have opened some wounds. Forgot that Ziggler and Miz(or Cody when he was in E) used to be one of the most requested alliances.

Realistically there's nothing major and buzz worthy that the WWE would be willing to do with Miz and Ziggler, they're two guys that the WWE dont give a shit about. Now while that mentality benefited them in their last feud in 2016, as WWE seemed to get out of their way in that feud and just let them work. That feud wasn't a typical WWE feud because there were no chosen ones involved so the McMahons probably paid it zero attention. Here it would mean that they go nowhere together and dont do much.

But as it is Miz is dead in the water. This beyond terrible Shane feud wont end but at the same time its being half assed with Miz's involvement in taht he has to wait for Shane/Roman to play out. But Miz has zero buzz at all at the moment, even as one of his biggest fans I haven't bothered watching any of his segments since a couple of weeks after MITB.

At least Ziggler and Miz have enough chemistry together to make whatever they're doing fun. But no matter what Miz is doing with whom he's sadly just employed to eat pins against WWE's dreadful chosen ones, and carry said bland as hell chosen ones in promos and feuds.

Let's act like that feud with Jason Jordan never existed. ;)

No matter who is his past partners in Shane and The B Team, no one can handle a candle to Miz & Morrison. Nothing can touch them in tag team entertaining factor. You bring Morrison back to Raw and you put him together with Miz again. Then the crowd will then remember what it was like when Miz was treated seriously.
Its sad that its been about a decade since Miz was treated seriously.

Dude I agree up to Mania it was decent. The feud just never ended and Shane kept geeking Miz out week after week after week. It still hasn’t ended! Shane tapped him out what two weeks ago?

I always wondered why people hated the feud going into mania? Obviously coming out of it and everything that happened after was absolutely horrible and has really put a damper on the new light you mentioned Miz being showcased in, but the feud started off actually really good (which pains me to say being one of the many Shane haters but the one thing I never have an issue with are his performances it's the way he's booked is so damn stupid evidenced by everything from Mania onwards)

In terms of this partnership idea big fan of Ziggler but the Drew partnership was his last legitimate big break (being a filler feud for Kofi doesn't count as one at all and also the partnership with Ziggler was Drew's best usage on the main roster but WWE failed to build him from there) and it's too late for him to be relevant in WWE again so a partnership with Miz would gain nothing for either of them in that regard however I'd also be lying if I said I didn't want to see it with both of them being talents that entertain me (would just have to trust WWE to not book them like crap which I don't)

Yes, the Miz keeps coming up short but that is the story they're telling with the Miz going up against Shane. He eventually will get his win back time.

I'd rather pair dolph with seth and have their promos make my ears bleed. :Cocky
I apologize for being honest, but if you see no difference in the qualities of Rollins and Ziggler and think Dolph is on the same level as Rollins when it comes to promos, I think you might have to watch something else. Wrestling ain't for you if a quality star and a talentless crybaby bum look the same to you.

Whatever happens for The Miz, it would be better than his current role. The WWE is wasting a golden opportunity with The Miz.

Obviously dolph is better at cutting promos than seth. I was referring to their tonal quality causing my ears to bleed. seth sounds like a chain smoker announcing bingo numbers. Both their voices annoy me.

As a Seth Mark myself I'll have to disagree entirely on him being a better promo than Dolph, Dolph has no trouble getting his point across and can deliver them tremendously well whether he's Face or Heel while Seth feels forced as a Babyface, As a Heel he's much more comfortable and relaxed but not quite on Dolph's level.

Both range around average to above average Dolph being superior in both roles and Seth only being really good playing Heel.

Dolph has never cut promos like these in his life.

No he hasn't because he's done better than raise his voice to get his delivery across the first promo which was recent was arguably his best promo as a Face by far in my books, The other two were passable at best last I recall.

I'd take Dolph's promo against Jericho pre SummerSlam 2012 that one he didn't need to raise his voice or his promo against Miz pre No Mercy 2016 to earn one more shot for the IC title over most of Seth's Mic work.

Well the tag division does need to be rebuilt and both guys are essentially jobbers right now so why not.

They have chemistry but surprisingly have only teamed as a regular put together you see so often, They kinda need something like this now, Miz is stuck trying to get revenge on Shane with only a mere DQ victory and Dolph is stuck being a filler feud at best, They deserve better before their career comes to a halt.

Yeah, I guess they could work as a tag team. They wouldn't be a unit that I would necessarily get behind and root for regardless of whether they were heels or faces, but they would add some legitimacy to the division.

Ziggler is definitely a better promo than Rollins . I think Rollins is mediocre and comes across as really corny . Ziggler can go OTT at times but is generally more consistent than Rollins
