Why isn't Seth Rollins using his NXT gear?

His gear at NXT was great and fitted him perfectly, I don't get why he isn't using that gear. Out of all the SHIELD members he has the best body to wear just shorts.

It shows some more pics. He didn't have the vest on in the ring, so it looks like he didn't wrestle w/ it on. Or maybe he took it off after the match. Either way, w/o the vest, he rocks the tights and gloves look. It honestly looks good. Oh and to clarify, no ****.

As to his NXT gear, his NXT gear was suited for a face. It was very bright and colorful. Not really something suited for him and now.

It's basically tights, so he will adopt the shawn michaels/ Chris Jericho style. I like that, stand out more that way and adds variety in the top of the card.

And to answer the OP, this "version" of Rollins is not even similar to the NXT version.

Can they not just put him in kickpads and trunks? Why's WWE think he has to keep the look of some secret ops swat team member? he looks like fucking Hawkeye from The Avengers now.

Its so fucking simple kickpads+trunks, but as usual WWE has to over think shit. Now they got him looking like some member of the X Men.

The conversation backstage about Seth's attire- "what should we put Seth in now that he's out of Shield?:confused::confused::confused:" "Maybe his old trunks attire" "What?! are you insane?! the wwe universe is so used to seeing him in all black in pants and a top, if we go and put him in trunks they might get confused and not recognize him, think before you speak man!" "Your right sir, sorry i forgot our fans have the IQ of retarded apes".

What you describe is not a stupid consideration. Trunks are the absolute bare-bones starting point for a costume, and when a person wears more than that for a long time, that look becomes part of their trademark.

To abandon that trademark and return to what you seem to view as a kind of "purity" would also completely return the character to square one in terms of his visual design (except his hair and beard).
In design, you should always build on, rather than destroying, what came before, and this is a case where that is possible.
