I mean do the full sail fans see something i don't? They flat out suck and have the cheesiest damn gimmick, they're boring, and they're shitty wrestlers. They pretty much had nothing but squash matches while they was the NXT tag champs, making the tag division as shitty as they could that whole year. I really can't remember one good match they've ever had.

On Raw/SD they get crickets and deservedly so, cause they're awful. Yet on NXT when they come out they get a reaction as if they was The Rock or something. What the hell is the matter with that full sail crowd?

The Ascension performed better than they ever have on tonight's show. Yeah, they sucked before and they suck on the main roster, but they showed up to NXT with something to prove, they delivered, and that's all that matters. You won't need to worry about them being pushed over The New Day or anything.

Yeah i don't get it. Why cheer a team who sucks? Ok they came from NXT but they was god awful on NXT. So what if Eva Marie leaves and goes to Raw for a year and comes back she'll be cheered by the full sail crowd?

I for one am an Ascension fan and it was good to see them back. It looks like they've really improved. Yes their gimmick is silly but...whatever...I'm a fan.

I still don't get their gimmick. It just seems like creative had a few cool ideas that just kind of congealed into The Ascension. Why are they 'ascending'? What's with all the Illuminati imagery? The pseudo-Road Warrior gear? The 'wasteland'?

I like the Ascension too. For me I guess it was just nice to see a team actually booked well (some would disagree but I feel like they were built as a legit force, even if they often faced jobbers). Coming up to the main roster was a disaster. Watch some of their promos during their tag team run and they were actually very solid on the mic, and they completely avoided the over the top 80's growling like they've been ordered them to do on the main roster. The face paint and shoulder pads are taking the piss a bit too.

But yeah, they're actually fairly capable in the ring. Their moveset, as was pretty apparent with the match against Jordan and Gable, actually looks like it hurts. I wanted them to come up to the main roster and absolutely wreak havoc but I guess it was never meant to be.

I may be on my own here but I always liked the Ascension in NXT. I liked their monster style of just beating dudes down, reminded of Da Hit Squad, but I think they really suffered from having such a thin tag division in NXT while they were around. I mean their Takeover matches were against Too Cool, El Local and Kalisto and the Lucha Dragons. The first real NXT team they got to face was the one they lost to.

I'd love to see The Ascension on NXT again, they could have a really good run in NXT's current tag division cause their style is so different.

Its weird, The Ascension is one stable wwe just wouldn't let die. Its went through like 3 or 4 incarnations, the 1st being with Eddie's daughter Raquel, Epico, Konnor and Kenneth Cameron and i think Ricardo Rodriguez was in it too. Then members starting getting taken out and switched around, and it was Kenneth Cameron and Konnor, then Kenneth Cameron got fired and they pushed just Konnor as the Ascension. Then they paired him with Viktor and they came out to same theme then they got on Raw and all of a sudden they're road warriors talking about the wastelands with make up on their face and ridiculous leather shoulder pads.

I'm sure i forgot one incarnation of it but yeah WWE just refused to let that stable die for some reason.
