Why is Drew Carey going in the Hall Of Fame?

2882 Views 9 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  Don Draper
What has he done for the wrestling industry? Not a darn thing. What is wrong with WWE? Giving a none wrestle a place in a WRESTLING Hall Of Fame. Really WWE Drew Carey? And I didn't even know they wasted a spot in the Rumble for him once. For him to elimanate himself.

This is absolutely one of the stupidest things in the history of wrestling. Does anyone agree?

P.S. Sorry if thread was already made.

No. There's a CELEBRITY wing he'll be going in, and he's appeared in a Royal Rumble match. It's fine, they're not comparing him to HOF wrestlers. It's just supposed to be a little added interest and maybe entice a few of his fans to check out the product. Nothing more, nothing less.

It's not like he's going to be held in a higher regard than Shawn Michaels. Celebrities in wrestling can have their own place in the Hall IMO, nothing wrong with that.

Because the Hall of Fame is like the points, it doesn't matter.

Not the first celebrity to enter the HOF, won't be the last. Nothing wrong with it IMO.

By the way, I was aghast at how much weight he'd lost when I saw him last night.

WWEs Hall of Fame has a "celebrity wing" for Drew Carey, Bob Uecker, Pete Rose etc its just for celebs who wasted the fans time with their bullshit. Some celebs like Uecker did quite a bit and was involved but its mostly a kind of a thank you for the publicity at the time.
This.

Seriously guys, sit back and analyze before you go making threads. Last night I too thought to myself "wtf Drew Carey" but then I realized "Wait Drew isn't first non-wrestler to be inducted"

He's going into the celebrity part of the HOF, but there's a more deserving man than him and his name is Kevin Federline. Seriously he's done what not many in the wrestling industry have done and that's beat John Cena, when he was in the middle of his Super Cena run.

K-Fed for HOF 2012.
