While its very true that since 2002 Kane has beena shadow of his initial run, when you stop and look at his total list of accomplishments in the WWE, you suddenly realise just how much he has done. Things that stand out include being the ONLY person booked to win 3 different heavyweight title belts by the same promotion (WWE,ECW,World). Big Show might have won all 3 as well but over two different promotions. Theres the Royal Rumble record, the sheer number of title reigns (And not stupidly inflated by Hardcore reigns) and the fact he has held every title possible within the WWE except for the US championship.

When he goes into the HOF in about 10 years or so, his intermittent jobbing wont mean squat compared to all that. They might even gloss over the fact he gets the worst feud each and every year.

His WHC title reign was way too long (close to 6 months, iirc), and they wound up in some bizarre writing situations because of it. The taker feud went straight into the ground (literally), and Edge/Kane was just goofy.

they really have messed up with this one, its totally unrealistic that on of the biggest (size) wrestlers ever who has wons everything , then becomes a Jobber week in week out , and is beat every week by the same smallest wrestler ever rey mysterio , it's totally unrealistic, and he now could still be one of the biggest wrestlers of all time, but now he has become more of a laughing stock which is a shame, because his reputation has gone and you can never get it back, he will now always be seen as a bit part.

I heard rumors recently that WWE where looking for a long term character/wrestler to enter the WWE, as most wrestlers now are simply that the WWE doesnt have many charcters left like it used for example Kane / Undertaker and all their side shows, entrances and dark persona's.

They are looking to add a third brother, a maniac who would come in a shake everything up, with months of build ups ,blackouts and busting out of a grave and the like, i remember some years ago maybe late 90's early 00's it being stated on the show that they had two other brothers but where all separated.

Dont shoot the messenger , it was just a rumor i read on another site.

its funny how people can call him pathetic . This is a guy who puts the company before himself. Its well known that Kane refused numerous title runs and would rather put people over than hog the spotlight.

You need someone in the middle of upper mid-carder and main eventer so that they can help with another upper mid-carders transition to main event .

He is an unsung hero imo . I like that at least some of the veterans put people over regularly instead of constantly knocking up and comers ack down the card such as Rey and Big show
