I think it just built-up over the years from Piper never getting any of the credit for the success of the original Wrestlemania. Hogan went on to André and the biggest live attendance ever and Piper was having to put over Mr. T in a boxing match & shit. I think he feels slighted & disrespected. Then you put in Hogan talking mess and playing politics too...

This is correct. There's also the issue of Hogan never putting Piper over in a championship match despite Piper being the most over guy next to Hogan and Savage.

that's true...Hogan taking too much credit and we need to take those credit put where it deserve. Same goes for Attitude Era Steve Austin, without Vince who is biggest villain Austin might not be the guy or WWE became where it is on top of the world. with Hogan he depended on other guys to make him look good unlike other guys got talent to pull it off..

Hogan, being a master politician, tended to make sure his contracts included creative control. Therefore he slipped in a stupid title reign which in theory would have been to pass the torch to Bret at Summerslam, but in reality was the last attempt of his original WWE run to steal the spotlight.
