Current IC champion. In the shield which was the most pushed stable possibly ever in the WWE. Or at least in recent memory...

In ANOTHER PPV main event. How many is that now? 6 or something? The dude main events a ton of PPVs. He is clearly someone the WWE consider a main eventor.

And yet people moan and cry about him being "buried". It is just insane to me how people cant just watch and try to enjoy the show.

My advice to a large number of people on this forum is this: your favourite isn't going to be "the guy" all the time. But that is ok.....

Re: Why do people think Ambrose isn't pushed?

Ambrose is positioned exactly where he should be for now and I have no problem with his booking.

If you overbook him and give him the WWE title already, it becomes an easy chase.

Right now Reigns has been given the chase, and nobody wants to see it. Should WWE ever decide to drop the ball on Reigns, deliberatly or not, they have a natural guy to chase after a heel with Ambrose, the face that people actually want to see in a chase.

For me Ambrose is missing something though. It's a diconnect between his gimmick, and what his character is actually like. Tweak this missing piece please WWE, then we might have something for Ambrose.

Re: Why do people think Ambrose isn't pushed?

He's pushed as a top mid card guy in my view.

I think they're waiting to see something special to push him to the top. Probably a bit like CM Punk when he decided to just cut that main event 'shoot' promo and realised they had someone special. Before then, CM Punk was just the top midcard guy and I see the exact same career with Ambrose. He needs to change his character, start killing it on the microphone and continue to get the reactions he does and he'll get there.

I just hope he has the hunger and desire. If he doesn't and he's happy with where he is at then it's a shame.

Not this shit again. His heavily featured, actually wins feuds. You don't have to be main event to be important remember the smackdown 6?

Dean should be at the top with the WWE world heavyweight title but they always let him get so close then give it to someone else its not fair

Because people think you need to be at the top of the card or have a world title in order to be pushed.

Ambrose is well-loved and well booked and I'm a big fan of him and happy with what he has and how he works. He's a lot better off than most talents. I think former Shield fans are just incredibly spoiled.

Because Dean himself doesn't want the top spot, he is happy where he is and doesn't want it to change any time soon, for a fan you don't know Jon very well do you?!

Re: Why do people think Ambrose isn't pushed?

He's getting pushed. In fact, he was one of the strongest booked superstars at the Rumble PPV a couple nights ago.

We all know his time winning the big one will come, it's just annoying seeing a less talented guy get pushed in front of him when it's clear Dean has all the tools to be more successful than their golden boy. I mean, is there anyone on here who would even attempt to make an argument that this whole Vince/Authority storyline wouldn't have worked a million times better with Dean in Roman's place? Part of me even wants to remain a touch optimistic that the reason the Fast Lane main event is a triple-threat match could possibly be due to the fact that if they get cold feet on Reigns again due to his lack of quality reactions (they certainly don't want anyone booing the winner of the main event at "the biggest Wrestlemania of all time"), maybe they'll switch gears and go with Ambrose instead. he also had bad history with The Authority for the same reasons Roman does, plus he even went toe-to-toe with Hunter at the end of the Rumble. Never hurts to have hope.

It seems like the storyline was in fact written for Daniel Bryan being honest, and yes this story would've been played out a lot better with Dean Ambrose, the story would've been more believable.

When did Dean say this?

Re: Why do people think Ambrose isn't pushed?

Going by how most Ambrose fans talk about his booking you'd think Dean had been Rusev'd or even Sandow'd. But he's on TV every week, wins most of his matches, main events a lot, only ever loses via cheating, is constantly flirting with the Main Event/WWE Title scene.

The Ambrose fans are one of the few fanbases that have nothing to complain about, Deans not WWE Champ (yet) but he's one of the only strongly booked people on the whole roster.
