I saw someone on youtube post " if Austin was part of the RA era it would have been bad ass"

Austin was in a good majority of the RA actually, from April 2002 - June 2002, and then we he came back he was with WWE from Feb 2003 to April 2004. Then when he came back in 2005 had a match set up with Johnathan Coachman for Taboo Tuesday. Dude was on TV for like 4 weeks at this time.

This revisionist history needs to stop lol, Austin was in a good majority of this era

If you consider 1997 as part of the AE then HBK was indeed an integral part of it.
Austin was there from what January 2002-May 2002 and then from Feb 2003-March 2004 thats a year and a half, HBK was from start of attitude (Mar 97-til bout fall 99) roughly the same amount of time althought HBK was way more active and important for the AE than Austin was to the RA....

True, but HBK was champion for quite a while during that time & a part of at least three of the most defining matches from the era. (OG Hell in a Cell, Montreal Screwjob, WM14 main event).
