I always wondered why pornstars can't make it outside the industry. I know people will name Sasha Grey, but shes not huge in mainstream Hollywood. Basically, they will always be known as pornstars. Here's a question does Hollywood hate the porn industry? I just don't think it's fair that majority of them can't make it elsewhere. My views have changed on porn. I do NOT think it's rape. Part of the problem is that a lot of the porn stars are unattractive without their make up, just do a google search if you don't believe me lol. And how do you expect them to be famous? To start acting? Not everyone that can take a class in that stuff is going to be huge.... there's really only so many ways you can become famous, and although some weirdo's like Kim Kardashian have found a way, for most people it's still anything but easy.

I'm not the best read on this kind of thing but the argument talks about the documented coercion that happens re: people doing things they never originally signed up for, and then I think there's also the other people that say that when people are desperate for money it's not really consent.
