first of all, I'm not going to praise Santino. I don't mind him that much but he should not be holding the title. People are trashing him though and one thing that always comes up is that he never defends the title. Well he has, maybe not recently but he was defending it all the time at first.

He has defended against: Jack Swagger 3x, Dolph Ziggler, David Otunga, and The Miz.

I mean he's not great but give him at least a little credit.

And he's held it since, what, March? That's not too many defenses. Especially for a mid-card title.

Nowadays that's a pretty good amount sadly. Not saying that's how it should be but that's how it is.

Yeah I can agree with you there. Title defenses are usually few and far between. I still believe the US title should be defended more, especially if it's been slapped on someone like Santino.

I personally cannot stand him, and having that belt on him renders it practically worthless.
