He's good on the mic, that's about it. I guess he has the same qualities that I used to enjoy in The Rock. Like it or not, THe Miz is our answer to The Rock.
Why am I so tempted to cheer The Miz?

I agree. Would love to see a heated feud between The Rock and The Miz. It would be a SOLID RAW attraction, as neither can wrestle that well for a PPV. But maybe words will be enough to get them over in a match.

fpalm Miz is nowhere near what the Rock was. I'll admit it, Miz has had SOME good promo's but overall he is only just above average on the mic. The Rock is one of the most entertaining wrestlers of all time and the Miz will never be in the top 50 most entertaining mic workers let alone be compared to the great one.

When you look at The Rock you see a star. The Miz is as generic as they come. Nothing screams star about the guy and I can't believe some of you are making such a bold statement. I know the majority of wrestling fans hate The Rock for leaving the business but you don't have to diminish his WWE run by comparing him to this jackass. Is that what you guys really think of The Rock? Jeez, some of you harbor a lot of hatred it seems. To compare a legend like The Rock to whoever the heck this guy is.
Comparing Miz to the rock? i hate the rock, but those two are nowhere near the same level. At least one isn't a sellout who left all his fans to do movies. I can't believe how many Rock marks there are, after how Vince made him and he just up and left.

The Rock went from wrestling to being on TV.
The Miz went from being on TV to wrestling.
The Rock used the fame he acquired from wrestling to catapult himself to the level of stardom he has reached today in the acting field.
It's a damn shame The Miz is the IWC's new found hero. Of all the people, The Miz. Quite frankly I don't any of your opinions on what a star is or even a wrestler is validated anymore. Just terrible.

I am literally terrified of today fans standards or comparisons. Like seriously.
-If The Miz start selling out arena’s,-then you may have a point.
-If The Miz get massive ovations as a Heel-then you may have a point.
-If The Miz is a huge draw-then you may have a point.
-If The Miz works with jobbers and mid-carders and have the fans be heavily invest in his matches with every move he makes-then you may have a point.
-If The Miz literally controlled the atmosphere over 20,000 to 80,000 people with a motion of his hand or facial expression-then you may have a point.
-If The Miz start getting 8.0 ratings from a 25 minute long segment-then maybe you have a point.
-If the Miz have a show that is based off his catchphrase-then you may have a point.
-If The Miz published his autobiography and debut it at number one on The New York Times Best Seller list and remained on the list for several weeks-then you may have a point.
-If The Miz didn’t have to get over with the help of tag team partners, ring announcers and lackey’s instead of true charisma-then you may have a point.
You see where I’m going with this right?
The Miz is your 600th generic-cocky Heel of the WWE today who is the WWE Champion unfortunately. Anybody can replace The Miz in a heartbeat if he was released tomorrow. He is not the answer to The Rock, Miz and The Rock shouldn’t be in the same sentence for that matter.
I am very disappointed that a fellow Rock fan who thinks so low of Dwayne Johnson work and comparing with trash like The Miz. You could ATLEAST said John Cena. ATLEAST.

Anyway people are always comparing because they deep down, miss the superstars of the older days. They're trying to make something out of nothing basically.
