Chris Jericho was a 4-time Cruiserweight Champion, and he was roughly the same size as Disco. When I started becoming a fan of Jericho in 98' that was the one thing that stood out about him- he was larger than nearly all of his Cruiserweight opponents.

Of course, the title was rendered meaningless when Ed Ferrara defeated Madusa to become champion in early 2000.
Yep. Pointless championship belt after a while. It should have been based on height and not weight since that is basically what it was about anyway. Dudes like Chris Benoit could have thrived in that league due to his power and muscle mass, despite being around 5'9".
