I remember The Rock being equal in popularity with them before he left for Hollywood.
If he was equal to Hogan's popularity when he left then he definitely wasn't bigger in wrestling than Hogan seeing as that period was nowhere near Hogan's peak. The Rock was also always number 2 to Stone Cold.

Yeah true, Hogan was bigger with non-fans.

Still, fact is Rock was already a global icon and mega pop cultural icon before he left.

Everyone was doing his catchphrases and eyebrow. It was everywhere outside wrestling.

I’d also argue he was bigger than Stone Cold outside wrestling fans.

DX and NWO were on that level too. Everyone was doing crotch chops and too sweet, and basically all non-wrestling fans thought it was cool and did it too.

Rock was perceived as better than Stone Cold by most casuals. Hindsight does elevate Austin slightly for various reasons.

First thing I noticed is the person who made this doesn’t know how to seed a tournament since they had Hogan and Stone Cold on the same side.

The 2nd is this shit is stupid. You can skip right to the end and it’s always going to be Hogan vs Stone Cold for G.O.A.T. Anyone who says differently wasn’t paying attention.

No one comes close to the drawing power and money generated by these two. The Rock can be argued as the biggest star, but that’s more to do with his Hollywood career than his wrestling career.
Hogan was knocked out by Undertaker lol

How can you take this list seriously if there is no Buddy Rogers mentioned? The guy was instrumental in the creation of WWE.

That is a joke. Undertaker is great, definitely the greatest gimmick of all time but he’s not even in Hogan’s league for drawing power.

Hogan was the top draw for the two biggest booms the industry has ever seen with Hulkamania in the 80’s and NWO in the 90’s.

The only person in his league is Stone Cold during the Attitude Era.

Nobody else even comes close to the money these guys drew.

Rock is arguably the biggest drawl if you factor in his movie career. But for strictly wrestling it’s Stone Cold $ Hogan then everyone else.

Hogan would obviously win because he wouldn't put anyone else over. Though he'd probably end up against Bruno in the finals, who might just whoop his ass.
