The more i look at this feud,I think Rock needs Cena in his comeback.There is not a single guy in the rooster now tat can go toe-to-toe wit the great one(mic skills,charisma,popularity).Anyone else except Cena would have been blown away by The Rock.

They don't need either, Cena is over and the face of the company for this generation, whereas Rock has become the biggest mainstream star along with Hogan, in history.
But it will benefit Cena more, because look at Cena's victories against very big stars, Trips, HBK, Orton, Batista, that's all I can think off. Rock would look much better on the list.

The Rock needs Cena more if I'm being honest. One of the biggest things The Rock has going for him is that he's "cool". Hell, he's always been cool. That's what made him great in the first place. It was his ability to trash talk and make his opponent, no matter who he was, look lame.

The Rock would not have had the same momentum had he gone after anyone other than John Cena. Granted the fans were going to side with him regardless of who he chose... but by trashing the squeaky clean, uncontested #1 guy in the WWE, it gave Rock bonus "cool" points right from the start. Now he's "edgy", now he's "tough". "He's down talking Cena? Wow!"

Cena doen't need The Rock at all. In fact The Rock's presence has done nothing but hurt Cena. The Rock has come off in this feud as the bully and Cena as the victim. When you're the #1 guy in Wrestling, you're supposed to look fearless and unafraid of anything. The fact that Cena actually had to explain himself last night and kiss Rock's ass made him look a little soft. Plus, his attack was one of surprise... which some would consider cowardly.

The only person The Rock has put over thus far has been himself. Cena is the one losing the most here... and while Miz certainly isn't being done any favors either at least he's getting more exposure than he ever has.

Sure people cared about it before The Rock, but Cena/Miz wouldn't feel like much of a WrestleMania main event if it wasn't for The Rock's involvement. ADR/Edge doesn't have that main event feel either. The only true star with drawing power (out of the four people involved in those title matches) is John Cena.
