This is restricted to WWE/WWF cause there were a top of crazy mofos in ECW and New Japan.

I think the toughest SOB to ever wrestle through an injury was Triple H. The man had his quads torn off the bone, finished the match, and even had Jericho put him in the walls while his Quad was torn off the bone.

They just don't have tough SOBs like that anymore

Some honorable mentions:

John Cena tearing his pectoral muscle off the bone and finishing the match
HBK breaking his discs on the coffin and finishing his match with Taker

Yeah. He also tore his quad for the second time in 2007 and still finished the match as well. Even delivering the pedigree to Edge on the announce table despite the injury.

Don't forget when Triple H kept going in the Elimination Chamber after getting his throat crushed by RVD's splash.

The two guys that immediatly come to mind are..

Of course Triple H. Everyone knows the story about him taring his quad and still working, never mind getting put in the Walls of Jericho..

But the other guy is Undertaker. There are a litany of stories about him working with what only be summed up as pretty much every injury imaginable. Guy worked after getting burnt up in his own pyro for Christ's sake lol.

The Undertaker had his whole body burned, and suffered 1st and second degree burns. And he still went over an hour long. He didn't even shorten the match. He could've easily went been the 1st entrant and got himself eliminated quickly.

Angle Foley Cena Vader are all tough sob.

Mae Young is in a whole different level of toughness her and Moolah taking bumps at their age makes those 3 excluding Vader I mentioned above look like pussies in comparison.

Triple H is still tougher than Mae Young though. He's not part of those 3.

The Undertaker. That motherfucker is tough.

The pyro blowing up on his body is one thing, but he also had concussions, broken ribs, nearly broke his neck off that piece of shit Sim Snuka missing his cue and to this day struggling with a whole host of injuries mounted up on him. He had his face crushed one week and came back the next with a mask on and don't forget in 1999 when he wrestled until he couldn't even walk anymore due to his knees being so ridiculously banged up.

Kurt angle won a gold medal

WITH A BROKEN FREAKING NECK

anything else is irrelevant
This. And it's not even close. He also finished a match with Brock, despite Brock giving him a career ending injury.

Stone Cold Steve Austin.

When he called himself the "Toughest S.O.B", that wasn't just a name, he literally was.

Guy had his neck broken and was left temporarily paralyzed in the ring but mustered up enough in him to roll up Owen to finish the match even if it was a weak roll up but your average joe would never have done that and attempted to pull it off. And Austin wrestled with that broken neck for the rest of his career against doctors advice while becoming one of the biggest stars in WWF history. Had it not been for the neck injury, Austin could've had a longer career in wrestling.

And Austin also wrestled with that bad knee at the same time for the rest of his career.
