Kofi and Christian.
These two guys are over faces that are entertaining. They are going to need top faces as Trips, Big Show, Kane, Mysterio, Edge and Taker won't be around forever. Remember the panic we had when Orton / Cena almost got badly injured last year? Yeah.

Drew McIntyre - I no that he doesn't get as much heat as a main event heel should but WWE just need to pull the pin and let it play out. He has that aggression and presence that could get him over if he were to fued with someone note worthy. When he had that program with Kelly Kelly people actually started to care about him.
Wade Barrett - Should already be a current or former world champion. Has everything that is needed to be big time player. His in-ring skills could use a bit of defining but they aren't important when being a world champion now-a-days (see Miz). He needs to get rid of the Corre and go solo. Being part of a team slows all his momentum down.
Kofi - Say what you will about this guy, but he is one of WWE's greatest talents. He is extremely over with the crowd and as we saw in the Randy Orton feud, he has the potential to be Smackdown's top guy.
Trent Barretta & Curt Hawkins - Maybe not main event pushes but they both deserve to be pushed a lot stronger than they are currently being used.
Kelly Kelly (Diva main event so to speak) - Majority of people on here are one eyed Layla supporters and that's it for the diva's division but Kelly Kelly really is at the top of the pack when it all boils down. She is extremely athletic, gets the crowd involved like no other diva on the roster and isn't as bad as she is given credit for on the stick (she still isn't great but than again no diva is a stand out when it comes to this aspect). Deserves to be Diva's champ by the middle of the year.

I would say Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes. Curt Hawkins and Trent Barreta should be in the IC Title picture, too.

Only because she will have a feud already set up and ready to go against McCool but she will lose that feud and drift to the bottom of the pack.
Anyway back to the superstars, I think Chavo really deserves a strong push. Problem is that WWE jobbed him out to Hornswaggle and now he will never have any cred left.

What? He's been there for a week and he's already deserves a push? I get that you like him, I do too, but he needs to work his ass off first. I get he was the biggest star in Mexico, but once you get to the WWE, you start at the bottom, look at Daniel Bryan.
And Sheamus. And ADR. And Wade Barrett.

Are you kidding? Yes, Layla has a ready feud but the difference between Layla and Kelly Kelly is all in the mic skills. Layla is the most entertaining diva WWE has today. Her mic skills are better than most of the other divas if not all of them. Kelly Kelly is improving but Layla trounces her in terms of entertainment.

He's the second biggest draw in the world. Yes, he deserves a main event push. Similar to when the WWF brought Ric Flair in back in 1991.
