Well, grouping the main roster women in tiers I'd have them like this...

Tier 1
Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Kairi, Bayley

Tier 2
Ember Moon, Mickie James, Ronda Rousey, Natalya, Ruby Riott

Tier 3
Sarah Logan, Alexa Bliss, Sonya Deville, Naomi, Liv Morgan

Tier 4
Nia Jax, Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross, Mandy Rose, Carmella, Tamina, Dana Brooke, Peyton, Billie

I'd say that the only ones on a similar level as the 4 horsewomen in the ring are Asuka and Kairi. Ember and Mickie are good as is Ruby but they don't quite reach that level. Ronda certainly has the potential to do so but we'll see when(and if) she returns how she continues developing.
What exactly puts Liv on a tier 3 but Nikki on a tier 4?

Nikki should destroy Liv in a match more times than not by pure aggression difference alone, then take into account that Nikki is a much better wrestler than she gets credit for, but she doesn't always get to display it due to her frantic style.

Liv might be a bit more agile, but that just means she's a glass cannon to me. She normally gets owned against better brawlers and better matworkers alike.

And say what you want about Nia. I do myself. But tier 4 she's definitely not. She's still always dangerous to wrestle for anyone due to sheer size and strength advantage.

I'd say Natalya, Ember, Ruby & Asuka.

Why is Natalya being mentioned? :argh:

Anyways Asuka Kairi Ember Ruby and Mickie are the ones who instantly come to mind.
Because Natalya has the technical in-ring skills to match anyone on the roster. What´s holding her back is everything else.
But I totally agree on Mickie. :)

I’ve noticed that Nikki Cross is getting overlooked here :O

Nattie is a fair all-around worker in general, due to her Hart dungeon training, but she came out being one of those that wasn't exceptionally known to be technical at base despite it. She wrestles a lot more like her dad the Anvil, with just a tad more to it.

She can do some fine matwork occasionally, but it isn't her go-to and she doesn't really do the kind of matwork that would blow away anyone that isn't Becky level or less (and that's depending on if Becky feels like taking it straight to the mat that night and not just going into brawler mode.). She can be a bit on par with Charlotte, but Charlotte is clearly better every time the two have taken it to the mat.

Nattie's strengths are stand-up game and rushes, clotheslines, power slams etc. Not ground work. Her sharpshooter is her best ground hold, obviously, but that's because it's by far her most useful.

Honestly it seems fairly cut and dried to be honest. I'll leave Mickie, Ruby and any others out on injury currently out of it for now....

Of the active main roster ladies it seems there are those most agree on when it comes to ring skill alone (Auska, Kari, Ember)..

Then there are those that are a little questionable to some (Natty, Nikki, etc)..

Anyway you slice it, it is a pretty short list...

One thing that really hurts is that 2/3 of the ladies everyone agrees can hang in the ring with 4horsewomen (Auska and Kari) seem to very rarely get any TV time..

I mean, the Horsewomen (god, I hate that term) include Bayley, so that's a pretty low bar, right?

I disagree.

Natalya is someone who is always praised as this great technical wrestler but I never saw it just another basic mat wrestler. not to mention she wrestles the same way ever match move by move.

If you seen one Natalya match you seen them all.

Asuka, Kairi Sane, Mackie James, Ruby Riott, Ember Moon, Nikki Cross all come to mind right away.

The problem is that most of them barely get on TV and/or aren't used well when they are. And yeah Mackie and Ruby are injured, but they weren't being used well even before that.

But we all know wrestling matches are dictated by the producer, sometimes down to every single move, so she´s hardly to blame for wrestling the same match every time.

I'd largely agree with the names OP mentioned.

I will add that when she's allowed to actually perform, Dana Brooke is capable of being impressive. She's athletic and you can tell that she'd have a lot to offer if she wasn't being pigeon-holed as a permanent dark match performer.

Out of those picked the only one I agree with is Asuka, maybe Nattie if she boosted her charisma 10 fold. I dont see any appeal in Ember, she always seems so much like she is clashing with her character, to me
