Same question can be asked for a dick load of underused guys with TNA. Why did they waste The Pope vs Joe on Impact instead of giving them a PPV match that could have gone on longer? Why is Abyss taking a 3 month break when he is TV champ? Where's Magnus? Most of the X division?
Bottom line they have too many fucking guys and they don't know how to handle it
This is the problem as much like in WCW we now see TNA with a bloated roster which consists of people who they don't even use but will attempt to throw them all into one segment on Impact together so they can get just a little bit of tv time. You know there is a problem with the booking team and management when the Tommy Dreamer/Bubba Ray/D-Von feud gets tv and PPV time but yet Crimson who debuted as part of the hottest angle of the year so far can't get any tv time just a month or so later.
I don't even want to get into what on earth they are doing with Samoa Joe and The Pope because after AJ Styles/Doug Williams ended because of AJ Styles injury we saw Samoa Joe and The Pope become the best storyline and feud in TNA but much like everything else in TNA the feud took a backseat to Immortal. I have always been against comparing TNA to WCW but right now there are just to many things happening that happened in WCW, for Immortal taking up all the tv time and denying younger and more talented wrestlers a chance see The New World Order and Jericho, Guerrero, Mysterio, Malenko and Benoit and then the bloated roster meaning everyone is thrown in together in one segment is again too familiar.
It is as if TNA are just run cluelessly backstage and there is too many people attempting to have their input thrown in and used, basically there are too many people who believe that they are in charge with Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Vince Russo, Matt Conway, Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter all around. This is why TNA needed Paul Heyman to come in because he would have been one man that everything went through much like how WWE is run with everything going through Vince McMahon but in TNA it is a case of too many cooks in one kitchen and TNA is struggling because of it.
