So RAW 1000th is over and the legends will no longer be showing up on a weekly basis. Heath Slater has gained a tidal wave of mometum these past few weeks with his bouts with legends and one can only hope that the WWE realizes this and actually do something with him. With 3 hours of programming every week now, there's more than enough time to squeeze in the One Maaaaaaan Baaaaaand Babay.

I'm thinking US title shot? Take if off that fool Santino Marella (who doesn't need it) and put it on Slater. WWE would have to be fools to not captivate on Slater's momentum right now. Then again, look at what they did with Ryder. I really hope this isn't the end of Slater and that those squash matches with legends actually served a purporse and that the whole thought process behind the selection of Slater to do the job was to get him over and not just another random game of darts in the office.

There are rumors that they are going to make the RAW Legends a weekly theme so maybe Slater stays in that. I hope like you said, he gets the US title off of Santino.

Bring back a legend manager to.. well, manage him and give him a US title push like the above posters said. He is pretty good on the mic, so the legend manager (jimmy hart? not sure) can say he respects how he will face any challenge or something

I'm hoping for my dream scenario of Heath Slater coming out and interrupting the opening with Nickleback and saying that they suck and that the One Man Band should do the new Raw theme song. Slater is then interrupted by Nickleback, who proceed to beat up Slater in a gang style beat down. After that, Damien Sandow comes out and verbally berates Nickleback for their simple minded beats and ignoramus lyrics. Sandow goes to the ring to confront them face to face, only to be attacked from behind by Cena. Cena then celebrates with Nickleback, saying they are the best band of all time.

Slater is a good heel jobber though. He can bump well and can get heat. So I like him where he's at.

Keep the legends going. As much as I would enjoy never hearing one of his terrible promos again, I love the nostalgia. And the legend segments are better than 99% of the shit wwe puts out.
