The TV-14 rating isn't that big of a deal. Most of the old stuff WWE did could be under a PG rating. Just look at what you've seen on other PG shows.

SmackDown has been TV-PG since 1999, RAW was only TV-14 from 2001-2008. So TV-14 doesnt mean jack-shit. PG is not going away, it will get edgy from time time though.

Why do people put so much emphasis on a TV rating, as if that will suddenly make everything better?

Only thing PG is lacking that TV-14 had is blood & scantily clad women. Blood ain't going to happen and scantily clad women is only good for those pre-pubescent teens who have yet to see an attractive woman in real life.

If you got the same brainless fucks booking & running the show, it could be TV-MA and still suck. Rating doesn't mean shit, just another excuse people use to want the Attitude Era to come back.
