I feel like we don't get nearly enough German's or Belly to belly's these days. Then again Angle, Lesnar, Benjamin and Benoit aren't around anymore sooo...
I still see suplexes. Not like in the old days where Kurt hit a german or belly to belly one every five second, but many guys on the roster have picture perfect old school suplexes.
I have to disagree. I don't think it's fantastic at all. It's the really awful flat Backdrop variant of the German Suplex. Notice how Morrison lands completely to the right of Swagger. The camera angle makes it look better than it is.
At around 1:50 DH Smith begins three consecutive Belly to Belly throws. I honestly marked out seeing this because I missed seeing simple suplexes/throws in matches.
When I was a kid vertical (the classic) suplexes were pretty common, I don't think I have ever, or if at all, often seen those anymore which is a shame since those are the most beautiful ones to me.
This is from a few years ago and not the best one he's ever done but it's an awesome move.
Cena's Fisherman Suplex used to be decent but over the years he's changed the way he performs it and now it just looks like a standard (and sloppy) vertical suplex
Chavo still throws some pretty great suplexes - check him out on Superstars.
In the same vein, on Superstars, Chris Masters sometimes uses a pretty nice vertical suplex.
Swagger, DH Smith & Angle all do good suplexs... suplexes?... supli?...
...Swagger, DH Smith & Angle can all do a good suplex.
That triple belly2belly is probably the most/only interesting thing DH Smith has done in his career to date.
I wish there were more people who did them though... I don't think you can beat a good suplex... that's why I always loved watching Tazz in the ring.
