I don't know about you guys, but when a referee reverses a decision like he did tonight, it really bugs me. It's just so stupid in my opinion and seems so random. Why doesn't a ref reverse his decision every time a heel cheats then? Why doesn't another ref run out then and play a video package like the one tonight? It's just dumb.

What do you guys think about referees reversing their decisions like the one tonight?

Yeah i agree, as you said it makes every other time a heel cheats to win and the ref doesn't reverse the decision look dumb. The whole thing was pointless as fuck, there was no need to do it in the first place, i don't see what it added to the match.

Why didn't a ref come running out after one of Mahal's title defenses and show the other ref the footage of them cheating? Why did the ref's suddenly pick this instance to get a brain?

That was bullshit, I’m sorry but it was. (And this is just got me but having the ex-AA hold separate tag titles and argue at the rumble would’ve made sense but at this point there’s no real point.)

I'm with you on thinking it's stupid OP, unfortunately it's one of those things in wrestling, not just WWE, that's never going away. Blame it on whatever you want but it's just one of those continuity gaps in wrestling were sometimes the referee can reverse the decision and other times the referee's count is final.

Conversely it doesn't bug me when the referee counts three, then realizes the losers foot was on the rope and continues the match. It sort of apples and oranges but for some reason that false finish popped into my head.

Usos should've just beat them straight up. Gable and Benjamin don't feel like a legit tag team anyways.. It's stupid for the ref to reverse the decision, it's just a way to get Gable and Benjamin a rematch i guess.
