Does he find a way to get into the title match at Summer Slam, or does he move on to fued with somebody else?

A feud with Jerhico for Summer Slam could be great, one with a returning Mysterio or Orton could be good too. Perhaps he goes into a feud with one of those three and then emerges to challenge Cena after Night of Champions. (I think they ultimately have to get to Cena/Bryan as they are the top face and top heel in the company).

I honestly have no idea and that was what I was afraid of if he didn't win the title last night, which he didn't and where he should have.

Because had he won, we could have gotten one more match between the two at Summerslam in a possible Ironman match. But now? I don't know where Bryan goes from here. Maybe a singles feud with Kane to wrap up and loose ends there but the bigger question is....where does Punk go from here? The only way he goes is the inevitable feud and match with Cena where he will definitely lose the belt to him, which would be a damn shame.

I don't think one of them being face is essential. Heel vs Heel could be good...though I do get the sense that Jerhicho has been more tweener than heel lately.

Yeah, Jericho could easily morph into whichever character needed in whatever feud he's in. Separated from Punk, Bryan could be back to his half cheers, half boos again, though that remains to be seen. It's a good situation for both characters as they can just go out there, be their characters and let the audience decide who plays which role. That said, I prefer heel Bryan.

I'd prefer Jerhicho over Rey to be honest. Bryan really needs to go over in his next feud and knowing the WWE there is no way he'd go over a returning Rey.
