"What" got really annoying after a while, especially after Austin was gone. I do think it's funny now though when a superstar will get the occasional "WHAT?" from the crowd and you can tell they are annoyed by it.

"What" got old after like 2003 and contributed to tons of potentially great promos being ruined. About the only time they are funny is when someone like Umaga or Khali tried doing a promo in a foreign language.

Sure it got a little annoying but id rather have them do that every show than absolutely nothing which is what they do now. There is absolutely no crowd interaction whatsoever in the WWE. Just look at the shows these past few weeks.
