What wrestler do you think has the most impressive resume strictly in terms of wins and losses considering factors like W-L% and big names beaten.

Take into context factors like beating the star wrestler in their prime, beating them in a big show compared to a Smackdown, and whether victories were clean.

The Rock has beaten:

Hulk Hogan:Face of Golden Era
Bret Hart:Face of NGE
Stone Cold:Face of AE
HHH:Face of RAE
Cena:Face of PG Era
If the criteria is who has beaten more of the greats of all time, I don't think anyone but Flair can come close to Lawler

You knew this was coming sorry...

I see your Rock and raise you the King.

Lawler has beaten (top this):

The Undertaker
Nick Bockwinkle
Bret Hart
Hulk Hogan
The Rock
Andre (co)
Mil Mascaras
The Road Warriors (with Idol)
Terry Funk
Ric Rude
Randy Savage
Harly Race
Jack Brisco
Kerry Von Erich
Curt Hennig
Kane
Ken Patera
Jesse Ventura
King Kong Bundy
Kimala
The Crusher
Bobo Brazil
Jake Roberts
Bam Bam Bigelow
Dean Malenko
The Freebirds
Iron Sheik
Dick the Brusier
Superfly Snuka
Tito Santana
Sid Vicious

I could go on, and on, and on, and on...

However the Memphis booking style also meant Lawler lost to most of these guys at some point as well ;)

So in reality as far as win loss record.

Probably Hogan or Andre

Did Lawler really beat the Rock? I'm pretty sure it was Flex Kavana.

Either way I still think The Rock's list is more impressive. He beat them all on the biggest stage in the major leagues. And most of them at WrestleMania.

This is impossible to argue against when it comes to wins over top stars.. THere is so much about Lawler I want to know now.

As far as won/loss ratio, it will be tough to beat Hogan pre 96, Andre pre WM3, and Ultimate Warrior

No, Hogan has a better resume beating top stars:

Andre The Giant
Austin (Tag)
Warrior
Ric flair
Vader
HBK
Nash
HHH
Hall
Earthquake
Bundy
Orndorff
Backlund (CO)
Sammartino
Undertaker
Inoki
Slaughter
Savage
Perfect
Rude
Race
Terry Funk
Jim Duggan
Jerry Lawler
Lex Luger
Sting
Randy Orton
Kurt Angle
Chris Jericho
Big Show
David Schultz
Big John Studd
Jesse Ventura
Nick Bockwinkle
Ken Patera
Sid
Yokozuna
Bret Hard
Riki Chosu
Tatsumi Fujinami
The Great Muta
Pat Patterson
Gorilla Monsoon
Roddy Piper
Dusty Rhodes
Masahiro Chono
Ted DiBiase

I could probalby come up with a few more. But IMO this list is the most impressive of them all if you look at it from a kayfabe wise.

Sure Undertaker has the Streak, HBK way better matches, and Warrior has a better win-loss percentage. But none is close to Hogan when it comes to facing top names.

Sorry marks:lol

I love the Classic Wrestling section. There are some names on this list that I didn't even know Hogan ever faced. I don't know a whole lot about Hogan pre 84. How strongly was he booked back in those days?

Shouldnt this be about who got wins over big names on big PPVs? HHH beat Hogan on Raw, id hardly call that impressive. Hogan never beat any of the top stars like Rock, Austin, Goldberg, Sting on PPV, correct me if im wrong.

Nature Boy Buddy Rogers gets my vote for the best resume based on wrestling activity and wins/losses. Below I've posted an incomplete record of his wrestling career from 1939. Even so, it makes the best of the modern WWF/WWE superstars look to their laurels. Regarding wins/losses, I would make an educated guess that Rogers won between 90%-95% of his matches.

The list below does NOT include all of the matches that Nature Boy Buddy Rogers fought in. However, it is fairly extensive and I'm guessing includes in the neighborhood of 80% of his bouts. There are big holes in the matches in the mid to late 1940s. Also, some of the years in the 1950s are lacking.

I understand there is a book that was written by Fred Hornby entitled "THE BUDDY ROGERS RECORD BOOK." From what I understand this book has Buddy's record virtually complete. At present I am trying to track it down and get a copy.

In terms of number of wins I would have to agree that its someone pre 1990s (Hogan, Sammartino, and just mentioned above Rodgers). However in terms of way of victory it would have to be Kurt Angle. This is due to the amount of submission victories he has gotten over many big stars: Hogan, Austin, Cena, Taker, Lesnar, and HBK to name a few and there are probably many more. Since a submission is the most concise victory Angle would have the best resume. Even though I'm not a big fan of his, it's still pretty noticeable.

What was Buddy Rogers's thought on Buddy Landel as the 3rd Nature Boy? A lot of these names I am not familiar with. What would be your top ten wins in Buddy's career?

It depends on how we look at this. I'm only basing it on guys with an impressive resume, with wins over guys who were already at their peak, former World Champions or already had an impressive resume themselves.

Ric Flair---Dusty Rhodes, Harley Race, Sting, Barry Windham, Lex Luger, Roddy Piper, Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Randy Orton, Mick Foley, Tatsumi Fujinami, Great Muta, Hiroshi Hase, Vader, Hulk Hogan, Ivan Koloff, Wahoo McDaniel, Ricky Steamboat, Terry Funk, Kerry Von Erich, Bobo Brazil, Buddy Rogers, Blackjack Mulligan, Kerry Von Erich, Tommy Rich, Dory Funk Jr., Terry Gordy, Sgt. Slaughter, Tiger Mask I, Tito Santana, Rick Rude, Curt Hennig, Booker T, Chris Jericho, Jerry Lawler and many, many more.

These were all big names in their respective eras/companies/territories/countries prior to ever losing to Ric Flair.
