I've had quite a few interesting jobs in the time I've been able to earn a paycheck. I've been a cook, a beer vendor for a baseball team, sold men's clothes, etc. However, one job stuck out that I hated more than anything else, and it may surprise you.

Several years ago, I was looking around for some extra money right around Christmas. I didn't want to go back into retail or cooking, so a friend of mine recommended me to work as a bouncer at a local strip club. I had an interview with the owner and got started. I did 2-3 nights a week, the pay was pretty decent and I'm sure most guys would appreciate the view from being around half-naked women all the time.

Yet, the job sucked big time really. It had nothing to do with having to confront unruly customers...in the three years I worked there I only really had to become physical twice. A lot of people were pretty cool also that stopped in. One guy I am still in touch with was a handler/manager for a traveling porn star/feature dancer.

What sucked was dealing with all the drama the dancers had. I'd rather be stuck in a room with screaming kindergarteners. You had the arrogant ones who thought that letting guys touch their body was beneath them. There were the single moms who had issues with boyfriends, ex-husbands, and baby daddies all night. Also, you had the ladies that were always tweaked out of their mind on drugs or blitzed out of their mind drinking (this was a BYOB place to boot). Naturally, you had the hookers who were always looking to get an extra $200 to get a little more than a lap dance from their customers in the VIP room. And heaven forbid when dancers fought each other over customers like people over a foul ball at Yankee Stadium.

It was good money, a lot of the dancers did like me and enjoyed talking to my wife when she showed up. But I would never do that again.

So, what say you? What would be your worst jobs?

Working in some abandon big ass parking lot carrying out sears products. Everything about it was crap. I didn't even know I was able to pick up a washing machine off the floor until that job.

Working in a warehouse for a bleach company who's name rhymes with a Dr. Suess book title. My job was to clean up the trucks with the broken bottles of bleach in them. The gloves they gave me to use dissolved after 3 minutes of contact with the bleach and they'd never give me extra pairs. Bleach fumes plus bleach on my bare hands all the time sucked.

I jobbed to Test back in 2006 at the beginning of his ECW run. I was supposed to do some live events as well but they said they wouldn't need me and if they did they'd call.

That was six years ago.

Worked as a high school teacher, even and elementary school teacher, but I have to say my first job selling newspaper subscriptions door to door after dusk was not fun, especially in the shady neighborhoods. It fucking sucked especially if you had to take a leak and no one would let you used the restroom. Being carted around an old ass suburban with other kids lying about their social lives was annoying as well. I get the kids knocking at my door every once and a while now, and can't help but feel bad for them.

I haven't worked a whole list of jobs before, as currently I'm in and out of the army, but I've been a bartender before at a local pub.

In the Navy...working as a Military Policeman. I was in a desert with Body Armor and an M16 for 12 hours a day. It sucked balls, plus it was dangerous. Great pay though.

Truck drove for 3 months and never could get home. Lot lizards are fucking creepy. If you ever think truck driving might be glamorous or fun, it is not. Driving was easy for me but that made it boring and bland. Back in school now.

Without going into too much detail, I went on a work placement for a multi-million pound manufacturing company...that went into bankruptcy on my second day there.

...I didn't do anything, I swear.

The worst job I ever heard about was the one my friend did while at college. His job was sandblasting sewage pipes (basically, cleaning the sewers and unblocking the pipes when they get blocked up). He did it for three weeks and was physically sick everyday - actually, genuinely vomited on himself. He said that the smell of the pipes was so strong on his first day that he was sick on himself within the first hour of being there. He wrectched and gagged so much, he said, that his chest and throat burned constantly. The worst part was, the smell stuck to him. He'd come home from work and would smell like the toilets at a music festival. It was pretty disgusting. The problem was, he said, that the pipes were always blocked up with used tampons. He'd have to hook them out with a wire or pull them out - and his gloves, he said, were pretty thin. How the fuck he did that job for more than 30 seconds, I'll never know.

I was a bouncer at a strip club before, and you pretty much hit that one right on the head. I didn't mind it though and it wasn't my worst job. My worst job was working at a local mall on third shift doing janitorial work. I never want to clean a womans bathroom in a public place again.

LULZ, my friend used to clean bathrooms and she hated the woman's bathroom.

Honestly, chicks are so fucking disgusting when it comes to using the ladies room. At my old job, someone took a shit on the floor. It's not like the girl just accidentally missed the toilet, the bitch took the time to squat in the corner and dump on the floor. How fucking nasty do you have to be to do that? Holy shit.

Not to mention the amount of times someone is on their period and you walk in to a toilet loaded with blood.

Shit smeared on the wall, snot, the list goes on. You guys would be surprised at what is visible in a ladies room, it's fucking disgusting.

Sounds like that would be absolutely disgusting. (N)

My job as a beer vendor included sewage cleaning to an extent. The baseball park was an older one before they revamped it (Chicago Cubs Triple-A affiliate). I would go in about 4:00 for a game that would start at 7:00 PM. There was always at least a good three to four inches of standing sewage water as the system was always backed up, it was even worse when we would be starting a homestand or a game after a rain delay or postponement. I'd have to get a cheap-ass WetVac and make several trips to the riverbank to empty the water. Didn't matter how it looked, next afternoon repeat the same shit.

The worst job I ever had was a little small part time gig I had with a friend to do maintenance in an apartment building. I worked the compacter room and mops the elevators and it was fucking terrible. Dealing with other peoples messes is never fun. Plus I'd go home smelling like dumpster diving bum. I will say it was very short lived though.
