for me it has got to be either buying the Smackdown 1 and 2 games or going to the old WWF website and looking at Bradshaw's and The Rocks profile on there.
Watching King Kong Bundy and Yokozuna live in the same tag match together. I have no idea who their partners were, i don't remember, I don't even know if it was WWE, but i'll never forget the sight of Yoko and Bundy beside each other in the same ring.
I've went and re-watched the Attitude Era numerous times.. but the first actual memory of wrestling I have was Kane and Undertaker's feud in 2001 with Rikishi and Haku. Haku scared the shit out of me.
I remember when I was wee little seeing a Program from a live event that my old man had lying around with guys like Bruno Sammartino and Superstar Billy Graham. I grew up on the NWA and WWF. I liked guys from both. I'm not even sure which I liked better - probably the WWF because they had more toys. And I always wanted NWA toys.
I do remember wanting to grow up and be in the 4 horsemen. I'd put the figure 4 on anyone that would let me when I was a kid.
Wrestlemania 6 since it was the 1st piece wrestling I had seen. My dad rented it from the library when I was 6. Remember loving Rick "The Model" Martel and Mr Perfect, and not being able to concentrate on the Ultimate Warrior vs Hulk Hogan match. Also I found Earthquake hilarious
Earliest I can remember was when The Rock was cutting a promo on Chyna and he made her get on her knees, and Rock was like "put her down on her knees where she belongs"
first overall memory was randomly buying smackdown just bring it for ps2, first actual memory of watching it was flipping the channel and seeing stacy keiblers ass. was hooked ever since.
Watching some 7 foot guy covered in tattoos ride to the ring on a bike whilst limp bizkit played, then he went and beat people up. I was hooked from then.
"GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY THAT KILLED HIM!! AS GOD AS MY WITNESS HE IS BROKEN IN HALF”
Dunno if It's the first thing I watched but It's certainly the earliest memory I had from the VHS tapes my cousin gave me as a kid. He used to tape RAW and the PPVs then give them to me.
Crying like a baby seeing Papa Shango when I was 5 or so in 1993 at a house show. Funny story found out years later my best man (getting married next weekend) was at the same house show as a child. His 2 sisters 9,11 cried as well he recalls. Not sure if thats a good or bad thing?
I fell asleep on the couch with Sky Sports on the TV, woke up halfway through the Boilerroom Brawl match and didn't know what the hell was going on (I was 13). Got totally hooked in and remember being shocked at the ending etc. From then on I made an effort to seek out more WWF stuff and started watching on a weekly basis from 1997 onwards
