All week, my laptop has randomly been turning off so I've been losing stuff that I've been doing on there and I don't know why. I'm not sure if it's linked to how hot my laptop has been getting, as within 10 minutes this morning it turned off twice and the bottom of it, and the charger, was very warm when it normally takes over an hour to become that hot.

Can anyone help me out here?

I'd suggest you have a charging issue its sounds like either the battery itself (quite cheap to fix) or the socket on the back of your laptop needs replacing (very expensive) get the charger itself checked out 1st though as any pc maintenance centre can do that for free and a new charger isn't too expensive. If your problem is is the charging socket on the laptop I'd suggest its probably the same price just to buy a new one.

To summarize its definitely aids.

Could be a heating issues on the board. Have it checked at a local cpu shop. Unless you have a warranty of some kind.
