Yeah, but it seems as more time passes on, more and more wrestlers are getting severe injuries way too frequently. And some say that wrestling is become more and more safer of a sport, I call that bullcrap.Indie style wrestling on a WWE schedule.
Nah.... let's not act like Kurt Angle or Batista didn't get hurt all the time a decade ago too.
Vince doesn't care that half his roster from the 80's and 90's are dead from alcohol and painkiller deaths due to spine injuries of the neck and back from taking too many bumps. If they would cut back 50% of the house shows with the all time weakest roster they have now they could start recruiting ex-football players again and get rid of this indy spot fest bullshit. Then maybe Raw would get better and ratings wouldn't be at an All time low.Indie style wrestling on a WWE schedule..
There is always an element of risk involved in doing high spots. I think when some say wrestling becoming safer, they mean they aren't doing death-defying stunts like they did in the 90's.Yeah, but it seems as more time passes on, more and more wrestlers are getting severe injuries way too frequently. They work the house shows because they pay the bills. It's like telling workers to cut back on hours and earn less. Not something I think the non-main event level wrestlers want to hear.Vince doesn't care that half his roster from the 80's and 90's are dead from alcohol and painkiller deaths due to spine injuries of the neck and back from taking too many bumps. Another reason I like the Luncha Underground style! They’re overworked.
They have Raw, Smackdown, PPVs, and two separate house show tours, plus the numerous media appearances. That’s not even counting NXT and their house show tours.
The need to cut down on the house show tours, at least for the main roster (preferably scrap one of them altogether), and alternate talents so they don’t get injured or burnt out so much.
Plus, I think the WWE style contributes as well, because it’s too safe, even though it is designed to protect the wrestlers.
Their schedules are more packed now than before. We also have to remember that most of these people aren't that young. The cool saying of "40 is the new 30" and all that doesn't really fly.Yeah, but it seems as more time passes on, more and more wrestlers are getting severe injuries way too frequently.
