OT: Rock/Austin the night after Mania17
"Jack Daniels if you please...Knock him to his knees" *takes a shot from the bottle*.

Phone ringing:
"Yeah SmackDown hotel? No, Mankind is not available right now he's a little busy, his mouth is full, WITH THE ROCKS FOOT IN HIS MOUTH!" *kicks his head off*

I would have to say Hogan/Savage on "The Main Event" from 1990, with James "Buster" Douglas -- fresh off the biggest upset in boxing history -- as guest referee.

It's hard to top most of the already mentioned matches, but Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy for the Undisputed Championship in a ladder match on Raw may deserve an honorable mention. The match itself took place during a short Undertaker reign that saw him face Hogan to win the title, Triple H at the next PPV, and losing it to The Rock in a triple threat match with Angle at the next PPV. So this match most likely never would have fit in at a PPV for the title. The match itself for most guys would have been a career making match, however, Jeff screwed up and was gone from the WWE a year later.

To be fair it was the European title and DX did do it first. Do you hate the Kliq or something?
I don't care for Michaels at all, but I was a fan of Nash and Hall. But still, my point remains. Finger poke gets heat, Kliq gets a pass. If it was bad for one to do it then it should be the same for the Kliq. Do you hate WCW or something?

COMPLETELY different circumstances. COMPLETELY lol.
EXACTLY the same. EXACTLY lol. Lay down to give an ally a free title win. Exact same scenarios. Heat for one, pass for the other. Double standard.

Goldberg vs Hulk Hogan was a huge match for WCW to give away. Goldberg was huge at the time - and this match would've been a phenomenally huge PPV draw. Mistakes like this show why WCW went under. They really had no clue.

Hogan vs Lesnar Smackdown 2002
Agreed completely. Huge match.
This wasn't a World Title match. Lesnar won the title at the end of Ausgust, this was at the beginning of August. This was a big match but it's main purpose was to make Lesnar look super-strong going into his Championship match with The Rock at Summerslam.

1. Euro title - World title
2. HHH/HBK forced into match by Sgt Slaughter - Nash offered the match to Hogan
3. HHH/HBK clearly buddies in storyline - Hogan/Nash were storyline enemies previous to the match

so no, not exactly the same

This gets mentioned all the time and people saying the highest rated segment ever, something like 9million. BUT it can't be after over the edge due to it being Raw is Owen after OTE 99. So is it the raw after KOTR as mentioned before in this thread?
Yeah sorry you're right. Over The Edge was the month before, I got mixed up.
