You know, TNA is pretty much in the same position as WCW was in the end of the 90's. (And look at that, Bischoff was part of the company for a long time as well. :D:)

But seeing how TNA is doing money wise, could it be a possibility for Vince to once again take out the 'competition' and take over TNA? Maybe he already has looked into it and thought it was worth the money or maybe there are thinking about. I don't think Dixie Carter would want WWE to buy TNA seeing the company would disappear from the edge of the earth just like WCW did. The only good thing coming out of a buy out is the TNA wrestlers contracts transferring to WWE.

TNA is technically in the same spot as #2 promotion, this is true. But lets be a bit realistic here, they're no where near as big as WCW was, especially in relation, WCW was neck and neck with WWF (even if that's smaller than today) but TNA isn't close to WWE. Not sure Vince even cares about TNA while sitting on his mountain of cash. I mean I can be a TNA mark at times but lets be real here.

I don't see this happening but if it does..I wouldn't watch it. Firstly, all promotions connected to TNA would likely pull out the talent they have signed there and TNA would likely lose most if not all of the wrestlers that work for it. The TNA locker room is full of some loyal guys, who would never wantto work for WWE, and who could blame them? TNA would instantly become the same crap we're regulated to every Monday night with a slight edgy spin to make some half-assed attempt at an invasion angle which would see TNA get its ass kicked.

No thanks.

Where is the Vince McMahon takes over ROH, NJPW, generic UK indy thread? There is always a "What if Vince buys TNA" talk but never any of wrestling promotions that are on a similar level like ROH.

Cause currently TNA has some major parallels to the state WCW was in when it was bought. I don't see WWE purchasing those companies that especially put the wrestling before the entertainment aspect; if the yhad any integrity, they wouldn't either. TNA on the other hand, is in a period of limbo, they could rise or they could fall, but one is bound to happen.

In b4 lock. Vince would not want TNA most likely. What is there to really buy? The tape library, the equipment, a few wrestlers maybe. TNA's most valuable asset is a TV time slot which may not even get renewed.

TNA will still be in the same position they are 10 years from now.

Then he owns TNA. Simple as that. I also question those who say Vince wouldn't want it. The WWE wants to own Wrestling and more specifically wants to own North American Wrestling Tape libraries. TNA would offer them a lot of footage featuring a lot of big names. Plus they could push the good X-Division stuff.

What would Vince gain from buying TNA? A library that he doesn't need? He doesn't need any of the talent over there either.

Like you know what Vince or WWE wants.. Vince buying TNA would be the death of that company.

Did WWE need a lot of the old NWA territories? No but he go them. Now with the network they want even more tape libraries. And oh yeah no shit sherlock about it being the death of TNA if they got purchased.

He doesn't need to buy the entire company to get the rights to distribute tapes.

It's not like WCW or ECW where Vince is going to make a shit ton of money off a "Monday Night Wars" DVD or a "Rise and Fall of TNA" DVD so he doesn't really need the rights to trade under the TNA name.

WWE doenst need them Now but that could change Once WWE lacks new Material to add to their Library in the network.

and since TNA have had, Sting,Hardy,Christian,Angle,Hogan,Nash among other WWE Big names would make a good source material for future documentaries and PPVs Library,
