What happened to the 60 minute Iron-Man matches?

Seems to me there have only been a hand full.
We need more of these. I would imagine Ziggler doing a great job during a 60 minute match the way he sells.

Current roster does not have the needed talent to carry a 60 minute Iron man Match both physically as well as keeping the crowd thrilled and entertained. 60 minute Iron man match needs a lot of storytelling and ring psychology from both the wrestlers involved and currently, well...
i think the last iron man match was cena/orton its a shame it was a great match and one of the GOAT matches in my opinion is Hart/HBK iron man match at WM12
Could only see it working with Cena, Punk, Bryan or Ziggler depending on the feud
Orton and Christian could put on one hell of a 60 minute match. They have amazing chemistry. Likewise Punk and Cena. I want to see Ziggler/Jericho develop so we can see how much chemistry they have,
Y2J vs. Punk in a 60 minute ironman match is my new dream match
Imagine Sheamus in a 60 minute iron man match lol dude will get a heart attack! He can barely work a 10 minute match without puffing out haha, sheamus vs the great khali in a 60 min iron man match  omg the thought is actually sickening

Agreed.
Theres simply no time for 60 minute iron man matches anymore. I remember in the early 2000's Brock Lesnar was in a iron man match and it was awesome
Very few talents can work it, and there's nobody today that can book it right.
Even setting aside the Iron Man matches, I'm wondering what happened to the 15- or 20-minute time limits (and draws) that were common in the Golden Era. People are so obsessed about burials and pushes these days, seems a time-limit draw is one way to preserve credibility while not sending one camp into temper tantrums.
Today's members of the "WWE Universe" don't have the attention span.
The only match that would ever have a chance of becoming a good 60-minute Iron Man Match would be Chris Jericho Vs. Alberto Del Rio.

Personally, I would watch that match.
Punk vs Bryan 60 minute iron man match on 3 hour Raw would be amazing, but I would hate for the crowd to be chanting "This is boring!" which they probably would. Those simple minded casuals can't even sit through a five minute promo without chanting "What?"...it's sad, really.
Bryan and Punk should have got one.
I think we could see some good stuff with a triple threat iron man match. I mean, why not? Iron matches are the same as any match, with the exception of the timeframe thing. Triple threat matches can stay fresh for much longer than regular matches because often the participants get breathers while they let the other two go at it for a while.
Still remember Brock vs. Angle on Smackdown in an iron man match. It was great, considering it didn't insult our intelligence. Brock put a chair shot to the head of Angle, got DQed for it, wait for a few seconds and pinned Angle 1-2-3.
Vince lost his touch and shows are poorly booked. That's what happened.

What do you mean no time? If they can have an Iron Man match on Smackdown, then I'm pretty damn sure they could fit one in on a 3 hour Raw.

I would like to see one in the next year or two. They must remain a specialty and used only for two over wrestlers who work well together. I would really enjoy one with Punk and Bryan. The idea of adding more men to the match is great too. A triple threat or 4 way iron man match would add more excitement.
If they do one at all it must be in Chicago or it'll kill the crowd.
