Theres not a lot of people who could work a 60 minute match in wwe today, theres only Jericho, Cena, Punk, Bryan who could work that long, Ziggler might be able to if he was in with the right person.

I would love to see another one though, The first one with Shawn and hart was amazing, Rock and HHH was great two, and Brock vs Kurt on Smackdown was a great match.

That is where your wrong. Get the right two people and it would not be boring. As for people saying that people wont watch a hour long match, um, I think people sit and watch The Royal Rumble every year.

Also, i'v always found the 60 minute matches to be some of the best matches anyways. It starts out as a wrestling match and always turns into a brawl.

I think there's quite a few people in WWE who can physically work a 60 minute Iron Man match. The more important aspect is whether they're over enough to work a 60 minute Iron Man match and whether they have the sustained crowd reaction to keep the fans into it.

That's why they worked well in the past, the participants of the matches were very over and people would be into the entire match. Rock, HHH, Shawn Michaels, Lesnar - all big stars. Plus they were years ago when the crowds were much more vocal and excited to be at events.

Most of the modern day crowds suck and no-one can dispute that. The only way you'd get a good 60 minute Iron Man match is if the match was in, say, Chicago and it was Bryan vs Punk. For the most time though, it wouldn't work and the crowd would be dead.

Rumble is different. We get to see new wrestlers enter the ring every 60 seconds, which is kinda fun, while in the Ironman match it's only 2 people wrestling for one whole hour .

True, but those might be the only four people who could keep the fans into the match for that long like you said,

Lets take Del Rio vs Sheamus as an example, Del Rio could go 60 minutes i'd say, Sheamus has no chance in hell of lasting that long. but if they had a 60 minute match, it would bomb, it would be horrible.

Apart from the people i listed i cant see anyone else in wwe having a 60 minute iron match match, 30 minutes maybe, but not 60.

Those matches need the sort of build-up that rarely occurs. They are the result of feuds that go back and forth (with regards the result of matches between the wrestlers and who is dominating the rivalry etc) and go on for some time, whilst being more than just a face vs heel affair.

The only two wrestlers I'd say were close to being in such a rivalry were Punk and Bryan, though I wouldn't say there were there yet.

If they keep coming back to feud with each other every now and then, between other feuds with other wrestlers, then they could possibly create the right circumstances for it within a year or so.

As for Ziggler, being able to sell moves has nothing to do with the success of a 60-minute iron-man match. It is purely about the existing rivalry between the two involved. They have to be completely evenly matched over the course of a long rivalry, otherwise having that kind of match is completely pointless.

Few people in the WWE right now could go for that long and maintain a good crowd reaction. I have no doubt that it could be done though.

Maybe on a PPV we might get a 60 min ironman match, but not on Monday nights, ratings would sink to all time lows 5 min into the match and people would tune out until the last 5 min of the 60. Personally I don't see the appeal in 60 min iron man matches, 30 min tops.

Let's put things into perspective: at Wrestlemania, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels struggled to fill 60 minutes. Bret Hart. Shawn Michaels. Two in ring GOATs, and they struggled. You can't throw just anyone into an iron man match, and talent of the calibre required for something like that isn't exactly all over the place. I'd have faith in Bryan to do one and make it awesome, but that's about it, and Daniel Bryan can't face himself.

Also, there's no real reason to set one up.
