I remember those chokeslams. I remember that agility.

I don't remember seeing any of it when he came to the WWF. He seemed less intimidating all-around.

What happened?
Well, I think it's a combination of Wight starting to act like how a Giant is percieved (Not agile),Vince watning to tone down on some moves (Choke slams), being lazy and gotten older.

Big Show is still quite agile in the ring for a guy his size, I do think the IWc give him a hard time over his wrestling ability, he's pretty good when he needs and is made to be, I liked seeing hm do dropkicks, selling suplex's and kick ups, but as I said its very rare you see that now, the guy is 40 years old.

The only complain I have about Big show is the fact he should be putting over younger talent now but instead he's main eventing :S

I think he just got used to it. When he was young I can imagine he was always trying to make an impression, especially in WCW. I can remember his debut in WWE and he didn't seem at all like I have seen him in WCW since. When he was first in WCW he just seemed like an absolute beast of a man, his general bodyshape and mass would have been impressive if he was just 6'.

He will always be a giant if he has 3% body fat or if he is just a big blob. He's not massively out of shape, he's 40 now so the past few years I can imagine it getting harder and harder for him to stay in great shape but he's hardly king of the unfit.

The way he was in WCW, if marketed correctly, he could have been legit undefeated for years and years. A 7 foot giant who had such strength but could also leave his feet to attack you? Forget about it.

Big Show has been stale for all of around 10 years now. The fact he is main eventing or anywhere near the scene really sums of the quality of WWE 2012's roster - abysmal.
He was pretty average even when he first entered the WWE, how he managed to get a title reign during the Attitude Era when the upper card was stacked, I have no clue. That and the 10 year contract, I bet he was laughing his way to the bank when he signed that bad boy.

i think he had it in his contract when he first signed in 99 that he would get a title run, and that he would main event wrestlemania, either at 1999 or 2000, which he did in 2000

i heard that somewhere not sure if its true but sounds like it, i also heard in a taker interview on a canadian talk show he had to have a "talking to" with show for his lazyiness, he got lazy sometimes in the ring

anyways i use to like him, he was never a favorite of mine but he was ok, but lately now in his 40s he is alot older slower and can't do much, i remember him dropkicking off the top rope at havoc 98

him in the main event really shows the weakness of todays product, a aging slow stale man who can't even do a proper wrestling move who's title run never clicked in 1999

After recently watching Big Show's entrance in the WWF, he looked as if he'd jump straight into main events after siding with Vince. Then he went stale with The Undertaker and won the title at Survivor Series when Stone Cold got ran over. For me that was completely out of the blue and didn't go with the story whatsoever.

Apparently Vince wanted to use Big Show like another Andre upon his arrival. He was rarely going to show up on TV, and he was going to be a dominant special attraction. I think it would of worked, but for some reason Vince had Show lose to Austin like three weeks into his tenure in the company. Once he lost to Austin he became just another guy.

I would've enjoyed a big Goldberg like undefeated streak from show in wcw. Guy was a serious monster and had the most impressive strength ever
